They called to let me know that Microsoft was going to take my credentials away if I didn't take care of something that they claimed to be able to help with. They also said all of my information is presently being taken. Did not answer, but they left a msg.

claims to be Microsoft corporation calling to warn me that my computer was hacked. i called back to see if a real person would answer and the same recording answered claiming I had called Microsoft corporation.
why isn't this shut down???

Caller ID said: AT&T Alert: Fraud Risk

Said someone was trying to hack into the Microsoft OS of our computer.

It was a computer generated voice.

We just switched to AT&T services...so the caller ID confused me. I Googled the # and it came up as spam.
