Getting calls from RNN Group that want employment verification and the caller rattles off my full Social Security Number demanding a call back. They use another number out of the Atlanta Area: 404-835-5807. Beware of these creeps!

Person called my employer asking for me by my maiden name which I have not had in over 10 years. She tried to get my staff to confirm and provide personal details about myself. Tried to call the number back and it was not a working number. My staff said they were very suspicious and did not release information. RNN group is shady. Beware

A very RUDE woman called demanding to speak with HR. She got angry when I said that we do all employment verification by fax. She then called back the next day, just as rude as the day before, to check that the fax went through. We checked our records and had no record that the person she was looking for had ever worked here. I wouldn't have even looked into it any further if she hadn't been such a nasty person. Do not give these people ANY information!!

Called to verify employment status of "me" on my husbands personal business line. He runs a company himself and this person called and left a number and reference number for my husband to call and verify that I work for him. I do not. I have no idea why they are calling to try and verify anything about me from my husbands business.

Caller name: Georgina R & N Employment Verification Services

Caller type: Debt Collector

This collection agency is fraudulently misrepresenting itself. It's lawful to attempt to collect debts, but it's illegal to commit fraud while doing so. A collection agency must admit they are one. They cannot attempt to trick someone by claiming to be seeking employment verification.

A voicemail was left with the name Georgina who said the company was RN or R & N Employment Services. She called off the last four digits of my social security number and stated my name. She provided a reference number to refer to when calling back. Obviously, I knew it was a collection agency and didn't return the call.

I owe debts, but refuse to pay until deceitful practices are outlawed. Whenever I have called companies to make payment arrangements before debts become delinquent, they refuse to cooperate and insist upon threatening me with collections.

If a consumer is willing and cooperative, why play games and use collections? Installment payments should be better than no payment. Personally, I feel companies get some sort of tax or insurance benefit by using collection agencies. Billions of dollars are spent mailing threatening letters, making deceitful calls to the debto, their family, friends and former employers. It's such a waste of time and resources.

I'm willing to make arrangements to pay the original creditor. No collection agency has ever been successful in collecting a penny from me!

Called my employer to verify my employment. Gave out parts of my SS#. My co-workers refused to give. Then I called and the person said they were just the call center and could not give more info other than go to RNN Group.com and then click option. Wait for to be contacted in 24 to 48 hours. Person knew job info and last 4 of social. Very disturbing in the age of foreign hackers and this person had a non English accent.

Called to verify employment for a "loan" application. Was referred to our HR dept. The caller kept insisting on getting verification on personal information of an employee. He did not wait for the phone number to HR, he spewed personal information such parts of their ss# and then hung up.

They too called my employer under the rouse that they are "verifying employment" misleading me to believe they are a credit card issuer or someone else trying to gain legitimate information about me and not a collection agency. Be very careful you don't give them any information they could use against you when in fact all roads lead me to believe they are in fact a collection agency.

Starts immediately trying to verify employment on one of my staff. When I finally got her to stop long enough to ask WHO she was actually verifying this information for, she claimed she 'didn't have that information available,' so I hung up.
