I just got the same call from that CA number and I answered and spoke to a woman who said they had low interest rate offers. They asked me for some info, and tried to say that they had to "qualify me" before transferring me to the financial specialist- to lower my rate
they asked me my credit limit, expiration date, credit card type and then asked for my cc #.
when i told them that i wouldnt give them my info- the supervisor got on the call and he seriously told me that it was safe to give them my cc# and that they couldn't actually use my credit card- but they needed the info. to proceed wiht the offer. that's when i todl them they must take me for an idiot and that there was no way in h**l i was giving them my info- then i hung up. criminal.

A real credit card company will identify that they are calling on behalf of that company and not ask you to call them back. Also, a real credit card company probably would not call you to offer lower interest rates. Why would they call you to get less of your money? Unlikely.

I just got a the same automated message when I answered this call. Don't call back. Don't give them any info.

Received a call from this number as well. They left no message. Rings busy when I tried calling it back. Yes, probably not a legitimate business.

Got this call on my government cell which is on the National Do Not Call List. I've filed a complaint and I suggest anyone who got/gets a call to do the same.

Same thing happened to me just now. Asked a lot of questions about my Bank of America credit card. I told him that if he was from BOA he would know the answers to his questions. He hung up on me.
THIS HAS TO BE STOPPED,

Called my business number offering to lower interest rates. I answered because I was expecting a call from that CA area code. I had a little fun with them and pretended I was interested. They became VERY angry with me when I declined to provide my credit card number. They put a supervisor on the line who yelled at me. I'm not really sure what he was saying, but if you're trying to scam someone, maybe you shouldn't scream at them.

Caller name: Credit card services

This number just showed up as a missed call on my cell. I don't understand why the FCC can't shut this scam down. It's been going on for many years and just about everyone I know has received calls from these fraudsters. We get annoying calls from them on both our landlines and cell phones even though we are on all the do not call lists. A couple years ago I actually spoke with a live person and asked the caller for more info, like what credit card company he was representing and he got very angry.....called me a nasty name that begins with a "B".

I keep a small air horn handy and blow it in their ears when I get calls like this. Rarely do I get a repeat call from the same scammers!

Received the same call yesterday morning did not respond. I filed a complaint on line with the Federal Trade Commission about this robo phone number. I enrolled in the "Do Not Call Registry" so it was easy to file a complaint on line as a Scammer and violator of the do not call list. Anyone receiving this should go to online and file a complaint. Here is the link to the FTC Complaint Assistant <https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov>.

Holy shiiit. They must be hitting up massive numbers of cell phones these past few days.

I got this call today too, but I didn't pick up. Just hit the disconnect button and send them straight to voicemail.
I never pick up 760 area code numbers, which are usually garbage.

You should have some fun with these scammers by giving them fake names and credit card numbers. Fake names like Maya Ballzich, or Ho Lee f*k.

This number called my cell phone this morning. I ignored the call and they called back not 2 minutes later! Neither time did they leave a message. I gave no bank accounts or credit cards so if it IS a credit card or bank scam they're barking up the wrong tree and aren't doing any research before they call people!
