Thursday, August 22, 2013 around 8:20am I received a phone call from (757) 963-7007. I screen ALL calls that I do not have programmed into my phone. With that being said, I allowed this number (stated above) to go to VM. The caller (number stated above) did NOT leave a message.

At 8:32a ....giving the caller plenty of time to leave a VM, which they failed to do...I typed "7579637007" into Google search & wasn't surprised at what I found, but it did bring me to this site...however, giving the actual # the benefit of the doubt, (b/c #'s DO get changed) I waited a bit, and called the # in question back...

At 9:05a I *67 the # in question...the other end did not ring, it automatically picked up and said, "Press 1 for English" with hearing that I immediately hung up my phone & programmed (757) 963-7007 into my phone under the name, first name: "DO NOT ANSWER", last name: "Telemarketer". After programming that into my phone, I came back to THIS SITE to post my experience with this number.

Thank you for your time. I'm glad there are sites out there like this....

Please have a great Friday and an even better weekend. Be safe, and don't let trouble findja!! :)

This number is bogus. These people should not be allowed to intrude into people homes and harass them. 2 calls in the last 10 minutes. Getting a bit miffed by this.

I believe they are debt collectors. They always say they have a personal business matter to discuss with your other significant other and they refuse to talk to you. Good thing I have Mr. Number on my phone. Blocked.

Yet another number for Portfolio Recovery. They buy up ancient beyond the legal date for debts and try to get you to acknowledge the debt even though it's beyond the statute of limitations. Do not talk to them because doing so might set the SOL back to 0. I am still getting calls from them 11 years after my date of work injury when I lost everything and it took years before I could get back on my feet and that was beyond the SOL. Yet another one of the criminal Bush family crimes against the rest of us. I just block their calls so when they try again - they don't even get the courtesy of using VM.

I keep seeing this number in my missed call history on my phone. I have yet to get a voice message indicating who/what they are or what the call entails. Like many, I tend not to answer calls with numbers or area codes that I do not recognize, so I ignore the call and let it go to voice mail. I will continue to ignore the calls from this number (and any other number) as I'm sure they're pretty crafty and work from a multitude of phone numbers.

Just received a call from (757) 963-7007... It's 6:50 pm here in CA. I was eating dinner so let it go to VM thinking that whomever it was would leave a message but they didn't. I was going to call the number back but searched it online & this site came up. After reading others comments, I think I'll just ignore anymore calls I might get from them. If they want to talk to me, they can leave a message... Thanks... =)

This company continue to call my number, my husbands number and my moms number. They have talked with my mother several times and told her they want to talk to my husband. As soon as he got on the phone, he asked them what this was regarding and they said an old debt. They wouldn't give him anything. He told them to send him something in the mail and to not call the number again as it was my mothers number and she doesn't live with us.

They have continued to call all three of us and have not sent anything in the mail.

This is a legitimate debt collector and they do have a law firm at their disposal. If you continue to ignore their calls, they will not hesitate to turn the matter over to their law group who will file a judgment with your local magistrate. This gives them the ability to seize your assets and freeze your accounts in order to satisfy the debt. They tried this with me and all it took was a phone call to them to cease it and they gladly accepted any payment terms I could provide. It's probably one of the friendliest debt collectors you will ever have to deal with.
