I have reported them to Do Not Call list before and will tonight. They try to "extend" mags that were never subscribed to, & yell & threaten senior citizens with bad credit. By the way, "We're going to ruin your credit is the worst thing you can say to the Depression generation."
My mother gets numerous calls each day from magazines, & I suspect that this is a scam. Because my late father had dementia, magazine subscriptions have been extended for as long as 2025, which will be longer than her life expectancy. My mother has told the magazines that there will be no subscriptions extended. My parents have not done business with this caller.
Have been getting repeated calls to renew my Forbes subscription. Forbes does not solicit renewals by phone-I spoke to Forbes and they renew by mail only, unless you call them. They have been rude when questioned about the phone renewal. We just want them to stop bothering us!

Called about "Now Yorker subscription." Having gotten one of these before, I said, I don't have New Yorker subscription and your're not calling from the New Yorker. "I didn't way I was," she replied, and the became verbally abusive.
