Caller type: Unknown
Every time I tried to call back it would ring once & then go automatically to a busy signal, which seems to me it's either an auto dialer or scammed or something. I usually don't answer unknown nbrs but since it was, or at least appeared to be, local (I know they can use these nbrs for other than lawful purposes), I thought maybe it was a new Dr's office I had just visted last week bc sometimes they call back on a different line. Now I'm going to save it under my scam list. If it's not important enough to leave a msg then it's not important enough for me to call back.
EOS! (END of story)
Missed the call, they didn't leave a voicemail. Tried to call back and got a busy signal. BLOCKED.

Hi. This phone number belongs to Ballottrax, a mail-in ballot tracking and notification company. First, I want to apologize for any and all inconveniences caused by a hangup or broken call. We had a code issue recently which resulted in incorrect calls going out to voters with the result being that some voters were hung up on. This is obviously not our intent. The number is used to notify voters who have signed up for our system about the status of their mail-in ballot.
Clearly, the hangup on callback is also not helping anything so we will be addressing that as well so that voters who are confused about why they received a call (which hopefully continues to work) will be able to get a little more information.
Again, we, and I personally apologize for these confusing and concerning phone calls and we are working to make the experience better for all of our voters who have allowed us to make their voter experience better. If you have any additional comment or concerns or suggestions, you may contact me personally at dstockton (AT) ballottrax.com.
