Claimed to be from Talk-Talk, ringing about an identified infection in our internet connection 9which is not with Talk-Talk).
Wanted us to go onto Internet - would obviously have had us connect to a dodgy website which would download virus etc onto our PC.
Would not give us phone number to ring back on - got this via 1471.
Called at 1:00 in the morning. When i call back it sounds like a fax machine or something

This number called us at 10:39 PM on a Sunday. My caller ID displayed "PAYPHONE" so I picked up thinking maybe someone I knew needed help. The caller informed me he wanted to help us with our Microsoft computer. I informed him we did not own such a computer and he promptly hung up.
I had a call to my Singapore cellphone from this number. I did not answer it as I don't know anyone from this area code.
I think someone at USPS must have lifted my cellphone number from a parcel that is being sent to me from the US.
Got a message of a Robotic voice saying that they have been trying to reach me and this is the final call and that the IRS is filing a case against me, and that I needed to call 323-786-0730, immediately. I do not owe the IRS any money. Scam!
