Believe a caller pretending to be national grid that says state law requires us to install a new gas heater when it reaches 7 years. We have no intention of putting in a new gas heater to replace a 7 year old really good quality gas heater. Never heard of this law in MA and we have been residents/home owners for many decades.

This number calls me nonstop about replacing a gas meter. I'm a renter in MA and the meter is not even in my apartment. I gave them my apartment managing company's contact information WEEKS AGO but they still harrass me endlessly. They even call on Saturday mornings. Sometimes it's a person and sometimes it's a recording. If you call back you get a recording saying it's a non working number.

National Grid Harassment Division that calls to harass you about you need your meter changed every two years, and the reason they do this is because you're behind in your bill, and you've got a "Doctor's Letter" to let them know to leave me alone for 6 months because serious or chronic medical condition, and they don't like that idea. So they got to find another way to Harass you and that's what this changing the meter c**p is all about. Nobody else on the planet who's Bill is up to date changes their meter every two years. Only the people that are on their shitt list. And that's what's known as Harassment when they Deliberately try to get at you anyway they can By any means that they can. They'll even go as far as to tell you they're going to get a Warrant to come to your house. Well ladies and gentlemen that's a "Civil Warrant" that is a knock warrant they can bang at your door all day long they can even call a locksmith to try to pick your locks. But that's all they can do. It's not a "criminal warrant" So they can bang at your front door and say that they want to come and they can even hire a locksmith to try to get them in. But they can't break in your door they can't kick in your windows it's a "civil matter" take it to court explain to the judge you're (indigent) you don't have the money or the means to pay this bill right now. and the judge will tell him to back off and leave you alone right now. it's that simple. some people have injuries that last them a lifetime, back conditions whatever it may be but once your doctor writes that letter, National Grid knows they don't have any ground to stand on. Oh they might tell you they didn't receive the faxed letter and have you fax the letter three or four times even though your doctor wrote it and faxed it from the same address. But that's just their way to harass the doctor's office so the doctor will stop writing you the letters they're just bullies. And the company from New York that's where their attorneys are, and their attorneys names are Solomon and Solomon and they're Bullies to. So it's best that you have this information read it, write it down, keep it next to the phone. Don't let them bully you around. it's illegal and they know it. So don't stand for it. And good luck.

Pretending to be national grid about replacing a gas meter. They know I live in an apartment and never call. Total bs but number allegedly is national grid or has been cloned. Beware.

Caller states they are national grid calling about replacing gas meter which is required every 7 years. They ask you to make an appt. I stated I would not schedule an appt and have contacted national grid directly.
