No respect for the law as calls keep on coming even though this household is on National Do Not Call Registry. They should be arrested and their children sent to foster homes as they are setting a bad example for them.

......"last chance to lower my interest rate on ALL credit cards to 6%, if I owe at $3000,00 on one and one is in good standing".......I have received several calls, monthly. I never respond. I, too, am on the "Do Not Call," list. Help.please. But it did give me the idea of going directly to my credit card companies and asking/negotiating a better deal.

They keep calling every other day, about lowering credit card debt even though I have told them repeatly I do not have a credit card. I have asked to be removed from their call list to no avail. Please help!!. I guess I have no choice but to file a complaint with the FCC. I am on the "Do Not Call" list and do not know how they got my number in the first place??
People are going about this all wrong. The gov't can't do anything to stop this even if they would try to enforce the DNC list. So long as this is a cheap tactic that gets some results it will continue. My solution is simple. Take the call. Keep their operator on the line as long as possible. Never commit to anything and never give any personal information. This is a minor inconvenience for what I see as a great potential benefit.

we've told these people repeatedly that we are not interested - their calls do not apply to us & to please remove our phone number from their call list. The calls continue - about once every 2-3 weeks. Now if we stay on the line & talk to a representative they just hang up with no reply.

Call from717-203-8889 received Jan 28, 2014. Recorded voice says it's my last opportunity to lower my credit card interest rate to 6%. The only requirement is that I owe at least $3,000 total credit over all my credit cards and have at least one card in good standing. I was told to push "1" to connect and lower my interest rates. I did and was put on hold and a recording told me I was 3rd in line for the next representative. Almost immediately, a woman answered and asked if I wanted to lower my interest rate on my credit cards. I replied, "What if you don't have any debt?" In my best serious voice, I asked, "Can I get a loan from you if I don't owe any money?" She quickly responded in a surprised voice, "Uh, NO!" and HUNG UP on me. Don't you just love to WASTE THEIR TIME sometimes!!!!
P. S. I am on the government Do Not Call List.
