Numbers with this prefix were first introduced in 2001.While 7057969322 was originally issued with the info above, the owner of the phone number (705) 796-9322 may have transferred it through a process called porting.
People are asking, "What can I do?" Put FTC - Federal trade Commission - into the browser and they'll tell you. I like to say nothing or"Oh?" (perhaps safer for men) in a fake interested voice and then put the phone down very quietly and go on with whatever I was doing. Then you don't have to listen to them except perhaps a few loud whistles before they give up.
Consumer Reports also has links to get rid of do-not-calls, emails, etc. even if you're not a member, I think - we are but we don't have to log in to get this stuff. Put "junk mail" into their search browser.

Caller type: Text/SMS
"congratulations, your entry in last months drawing won you a FREE AppleiPad! Enter "5870" at http://apple.ca.ll.cc"and send address where to ship it"
the message centre number on my phone from them was 705-796-9322 however the sender number is different 1-425-686-4180,i don't know how they did that.
i suspect it is billing scam. once they have your address they hope to send you fake invoices, or claim to be a creditor for outstanding balance but are not legit banks to get your CC number . I recently have been getting emails like that too.
