Received a call from this number. Real person on the other end and said my computer generated a malicious report. I asked him how he got this number and which computer is he talking about. He said he got my number through a survey and that this is regarding a microsoft windows OS.
I told him you have the wrong number and the wrong person.

Caller name: Goggle Inc.

Caller type: Scammer/Fraudster

There is one of three scams going on in my state. One of them is
when you answer the phone, the caller is a real person. When
you say hello, they say "can you hear me?" I do not know how
this scam works when you say yes. It has been in the local
newspapers and local news. I called my bank immediately
after receiving the second call. They told me there is no way
by saying yes that some one can take your money from your
account, We received two calls two weeks apart, one on a cell
phone (ours) when he said can you here me, I hung up. The other on our land phone, my husband answered and said yes when he
asked "can you hear me"? My husband was not thinking. The first
caller was American, Said he was from some customer service
department. The second caller was foreign. Call came from 650-214-4578.

Got a call today on my home landline. Normally, I would not pick up but knew instantly when I saw "Google, inc." on my caller id that it was a scam so I wanted to check it out. Indian guy told me that my operating system was hacked. Lots of confusion and noise in background. I asked a couple questions which he could not answer. He just repeated operating system hacked. I told him you're a scammer. Get a real job. Told him I'm no dumba$$ and I hung up.

Received phone call from the same guys, they call my work number claiming that I have to "update" my windows. I asked him which Windows operating system? I laughed and said; you think that I am dumb to fall for a lame scam and said that I would report him.

Person called and was arrogant, relentless and very offensive. He could not speak clear English and had to actually spell what he was trying to tell me. He said I was approved for a large amount of Government Grant monies. I asked him to remove me from the list and he said, you mean you don't want to partake in the opportunity of a lifetime, I said no, remove my information, he said press 1 if you want your info removed. I gave it a click instead. Totally upset with these people!

Called and said my email, gave similar email but not mine, accused me of being a hacker and using my email to send malicious software to people. He needed to access my computer to fix it. I told him I would call my virus program provider. He said, in barely understandable English, that Google is coming after me as a hacker and I will be prosecuted.
That's when the entertainment of making him repeat himself became boring. I hung up.

I got the "I'm calling from Windows..."
A. If it were real the call would be identified as Microsoft, not Google.
B. Neither Microsoft, Google or 'Windows' would take the time and effort to call you and me.
C. According to every number lookup this call originated in Mountain View, CA - from an electric car charging station called Tesla Supercharger.
I got her to tell me her name, age and hometown (supposedly) then engaged her in a "what are you wearing" line of questioing. When I asked her to be more descriptive she hung up. Funny!

I got a call today from this number . I live in Ontario Canada , the caller said he was calling about an automobile accident that happened in the last two months . I had to get him to repeat this as he was difficult to understand , so he said it again a little clearer and asked the name of the person who was involved in the accident . He was very forceful , but I said there was no accident and he hung up on me to get to the next call . This must be a new scam as I haven't heard of this one before .

Per the reports it seems to be a scam where they want to get into your computer
which I'd never do. Should you ever take a call just tell the party I'll get the owner
and just leave the phone call, Let the people hang thinking someone will get back to the phone. Maybe they will get the hit because the minutes mean dollars they are spending.
