I frequently get calls from these people. It is at the point where I enjoy messing with them.

They ask me to turn on my computer.

I tell them I no longer have one.

I tell them I have 7 different computers. I ask which one are they calling about. If they say Microsoft, I say I have a Mac. Or vice versa.

I make baby noises, goo-goo da da, that sort of gibberish thing.

I speak in gibberish, making believe I don't speak english.

Eventually, they get frustrated and hang up.

Normally I do not answer "Wireless Caller" calls 1-646-612-3456 - but I have a friend that does use one. After saying "Hello" a woman with accent asked if "my husband" ever uses my computer. #1 - I have no husband - #2 - I only told her that "I do not give any personal information to someone I do not know and to remove my name from their list immediately", and that I was reporting her to the officials, then hung up.

called 3x in a row after I requested they not EVER call me in their 1st call. Said they weren't trying to sell me anything; that they were calling about my computer. I informed them I didn't deal with sales, repair, consultation, etc via phone. I preferred to look someone in the eye, understand their accent, and deal with someone in my community. These people are RELENTLESS! I told them I was going to contact the FCC in the 1st call they made; in the 3rd call he told me 'don't threaten me'.

When the last digits of a phone number are 123456, I suspect something fishy. Googling this number confirmed it.

I told this caller I didn't own a computer, he said I was lying. He said my husbands name and said he had my postal address. He said my computer has been hacked, but I really don't have a computer. I told him he was the liar, he said if I didn't want his help he would remove my number from the list.

Called telling me there was an issue with my computer. I asked which computer,he said the one you access the internet with. I told him he had to be more specific as I have 17 computers and a server( I only have 3 and a server but it served the purpose of making them think) online at one time. This got me passed to the head technician who proceeded to tell me the license number of my computer (these guys didn't realize I am the head of the IT department for my company). After messing with him for about half an hour I got bored and hung up.

These people keep calling and tell us that our computer server has been hacked and that they need to fix my computer. It is very frightening and they are very persistent. They all have foreign accents so I don't know where they are calling from. I thought No Not Call was supposed to protect me from this sort of thing. We are on both the National and the local Pa DO NOT CALL lists. I verified that today.

These people have been calling me for years but often change their phone number. Caller ID states "out of area". They NEVER leave a message on my machine if I do not pick up. They are calling me about once a week and vary the time and day. When I have picked up they state (and he speaks in an Indian accent) that I have problems with my Microsoft operating system. I tell him I do not and that what he is doing is illegal and a scam. I tell him to take my name off of their phone list. He and some guy in the back ground laugh and make fun of me and then hang up. My phone number has never been taken off of their list. They are irritating and should be blocked from calling inside the U.S.

She tried to keep talking and I told her to lose the number because her worthless A$$ was never going to get any information from us. Then I told her to go get a real job. I'm not sure at which point she hung up.

How harassing and annoying! How do you get them to stop if people call them tell them to stop and they won't. Can calls be blocked on a landline?

guys...if they ask you to download teamviewer...just download a virtual machine running windows 2000, download teamviewer to it (it is a virtual machine so it wont affect your computer) and then when they connect, get their team viewer ID and call team viewer. they will happily trace down their IP for you. (its also fun to watch the idiots try to figure out a way around your 2000 box, for a good laugh.)
