User Complaints for 605-575-4444
It's only 8:10 a.m. and they have called twice already. They ask for one persons name, if you say they aren't there they hang up and will not even answer a question to leave a message, Or even who is calling. Very rude to just hang up on the person who answers their call. For a company who is calling so much and trying to reach a person you would think they would want to get the message to them that they are calling.
Caller name: Wells Fargo
I received 5 calls from this number before coming here to find out who it was. I received 4 calls on a Saturday and tried to answer the one time I was near my phone to see it ringing, but there was no response on the other line. No messages were ever left on the other 3 calls. Then I got another call this morning (Monday) and did some digging, seeing that it was WF.
I paid my student loan the day before it was due, with a transfer from my WF checking to my WF loan. The payment was deducted the same day, so I thought nothing of it. But clearly the loan department isn't posting the payment. So I called a number from the WF site, rather than just calling this number back. I called 1-800-378-5526. The first woman said my balance showed overdue and when I said I had paid it, she transferred me to the department that makes the calls from the 605 number. I told the second woman that I had paid the balance and it was deducted from my account. She said it would probably show up today and noted that in my account. Both women were very friendly and helpful. I can't say for sure if I will get more calls today, but based on actually speaking with someone at WF, I feel like the matter was easily resolved.
I would recommend that anyone getting frustrated should just call in to WF and see if someone can sort their situation out. I have never made a late payment on any account, ever, so it was important to me that this be resolved, rather than just continue to ignore the phone calls.
I found that it was Wells Fargo from this site. They call about 6 times a day but connection gets lost. Calls come in ranging from 4am, 9am, 3pm, 5pm, 8pm and 1am.
I am 5 days late but if they would talk to me I could tell them why so they don't have to keep calling me and keeping me up at all hours.
Calls multiple times per day and no message is left. When I did pick up, it took me to an automated Well's Fargo message to stay on the line so I could talk to someone about how to get out of debt. I don't need their help, they already have my mortgage loan and I pay on time.
Caller name: Wells Fargo ?
Supposedly this is Wells Fargo, That is what my caller id reads. You pick it up they hang up. I am not wasting my time calling back. On my cell phone it just shows the number. I don't answer calls I don't recognize. They don't want me to know then I don't answer.
I have this number tagged in my phone caller ID now as: WellsFargo a*****e. They are rude and demanding. I am the co-signer for a student loan and these guys call me anytime of day or nite and harass me if the kid is late on his payment. Once we can figure out how to consolidate his student loans I am done with WF. Next time he calls I am just going to get his home or cell number and call him back 'round 2 AM. More fun than blocking the number, eh?
Caller name: Wells Fargo Bank
They are calling my work number without leaving a message. This is not productive or ethical. Should they choose to state their business in a clear, concise message, they will get a return call.
Caller name: Wells Fargo
Bethany from Wells Fargo, student loan entity.
This is a call center wishing to seek clients who are behind on student loan payments.
We asked to be removed from their calling list because the number they are calling is a business.
Bethany said that this is the number someone must have given them so that is why they are calling.
Bethany said she will do a search of the phone number to see if they can get the number removed from their system. If not, they are sorry.
Hmm..not a good enough answer! Get the number removed, flag it, and don't call again. DUH!
Caller name: Sioux Falls, SD
