User Complaints for (604) 697-0035

Caller type: Debt Collector

These people are an outsourced collection agency. My payment failed on my account, and when I tried to use my phone it redirected to their collection group. After some discussion with a gentleman with a strong but decipherable accent, I had to end the call for a meeting but agreed that they would call me back later in the day to finish our discussion. The return call was from the number noted, and was the gentleman I spoke to originally when redirected to their department by Telus. So, just a poor choice of company for Telus to outsource billing management to.

Clifford said he was from Telus support and we let him log onto our computer. Big mistake. I don't know exactly what he wanted but don't let them log onto your computer. Telus has advised that this number is not a Telus support number

Caller name: Telus

Caller type: Unknown

I was trying to reach Telus support and was prompted to have a support person call back. Telus called back 15mins later with caller ID "Telus Callback". Spoke to them briefly but they had "technical issues" so had to hang up and call me back again. I then got a call back from 604-697-0035 and they mentioned they were Telus. Without thinking too much about it I made the assumption that was Telus calling back since no one else could possibly know I'm expecting a call back from them. They asked for some basic questions to verify my account but nothing out of the ordinary. The conversation was about getting my modem up and running again and my questions about my issue were resolved. The number is definitely fishy since it doesn't have a proper caller ID. Best to make sure to ask or let Telus know how us customers can verify this is in fact a Telus number and not a scammer.

Caller name: Carla @ TELUS tech support

Caller type: Unknown

This # is a TELUS BC number and Carla works in Tech Support. They have been fixing my email & she just called me.

Crooks are 'spoofing' to show other #s on call display that have nothing to do with them. All those Marriott Hotel & Westjet calls are from crooks. Last week my home # was listed on a call to my cell - except I was home and not calling myself...

This definitely is a scam, they go straight into wanting your info and I started to do that and realized they aren't calling me I. The time slot I requested and the noise in the background made me fishy. I said they weren't Telsus and hung up.
Don't give them info!!

Caller name: Gerald

Caller type: Unknown

This number is Telus and it was a courtesy call after I had called regarding an internet problem. . In my case my modem crapped out and they sent me a new one. Gerald said he would call to check on the status of my modem delivery and see if everything was working.
He left a message and he was extremely polite and well spoken - in English.

Caller name: talked too fast to get his name but its collections agency

Caller type: Debt Collector

kept on wanting my personal information and saying "there's a reason we're calling you"

but I kept telling them not to call again because of the new law...they cannot call you if you let them know you refuse to disclose personal information (even a birthday date is too much...because they can ruin your credit if they have it), you've no accounts outstanding, refuse to pay any bogus account that isn't mine

the 2nd time they called today I didn't answer but the phone was disconnected 30min later when I tried to call them back.

This number is associated with too many different "businesses" from what I can see. They called me twice in one minute and left a message the second time - the ID comes up as Telus Communications and the message says my account is delinquent and will be sent to a collection agency if I don't call back by 4 p.m. We don't have any Telus accounts on any of our services so it isn't legitimate. I think they are probably calling from a different number but have managed to make the call appear as if it's coming from this "Telus" number.

I will never pick up a long distance call on my cell phone and I rejected this particular call. When I tried to call them back on our land line, I could not connect! So sad, that companies get a hold of ones cell number, especially if one has a very basic and limited coverage!

I received two calls from this number on March 1st. The first was at 3:04 pm, the second at 3:36. I never answer when it's an unfamiliar number. No messages were left. My phone is a cell.

I really don't know who it was or what they wanted as I couldn't understand what she said. I did hear Telus in there somewhere, but I have never received a call from them at this number before and they always have representatives that speak very clear. I believe it is a scam, why would they call from one number and leave another as a call back ? That and the fact they actually asked for someone else linked with my Telus account instead of asking for me. They would have known who's phone was who's. Yep, I'm going with scam. Not calling back so I guess I'll never find out...lol

They called my home number two times in a row just 30 minutes ago. No message, just noise or music in the back ground. I never answer calls I don't recognize nor do I even answer if the call display says a company name. Most of the time its scammers or telemarketers. Being on the do not call list apparently does NOTHING.

This number is definitely a scam operation - the caller portrays themself as a Telus Representative and their goal is to obtain personal informtion from you. They will begin the conversation asking if you have any connection to a company that does not even exsist, or will leave a message advising that if you do not contact them by the end of a certain date, that your phone will be disconnected. It goes on and on. They have been calling my daughter's cell phone for months now and I have done my own investigation with Telus Mobility and Telus.com and definitely these people are a big fraud!

Caller name: Carla!

Caller type: Scammer/Fraudster

My parents get calls at all hours from this number as well as another "Telus" BC number, plus a whole bunch of other numbers. One of the posters on here mentioned the caller said her name was Carla. Well, my parents received a call from a Carla Campbell one day under a different number and I am wondering if she made a mistake and used her actual home or cell number to make the call rather than setting it up under the fake numbers?! The number that came up under Carla Campbell on the call display is 865-685-0180.

They Identified themselves as telus, hey where calling about on if my business lines. They asked me my birthday and all my billing info claiming they where calling to confirm an upgrade to my phone system they where planning on doing. However soon as I hung up I remembered I had never given that number. How they got that number made me uneasy and they fact that I gave them all my billing info, and called back and it was out of service. I am really worried this wasn't someone trying to get my info so they could commit fraud against me. A few days earlier I had to cancel one of my cards because it had been compromised and had been maxed out in a matter of a month. I imminently checked all my cards of unknown activity requested a credit report and signed up for credit protection. might be a bit overkill but if you let con artists max out all your credit and destroy your credit rating it could literally ruin your life. specially if you work for yourself and rely on your credit file.

I had applied for a telus internet hookup a week and a half ago, Then at 8 in the morning she repeatedly called both phones until I answered. Kind of hoping it is telus and not something else weird.

This person has called twice with messages - once there was just music playing for a few minutes and then immediately following, another long call with no music and no message. It's weird. They keep calling mostly there is no message. I dealt with Telus the other day too - wonder if this person works in their call center and just poaches numbers to try and get fraud info from???
