Caller name: Agent Headley
Scam call - computer generated voice - claims to be from the IRS and that I or my attorney need to talk to one of their agents immediately. The grammar is weird - like a non english speaker wrote the message. Definitely a scam. Do not even bother to pick up.
Caller name: Officer Heather
Obviously a computer-generated voice called telling me to call this number. They have called numerous times over the last week, and this morning, Saturday, at 7:30am. Highly annoying! Tells me they are with the IRS and that the matter is time-sensitive and to call this number. The IRS will NEVER contact you without first sending something by snail mail. I wish I could make them stop calling!
Caller name: Claimed to be IRS
Three calls in a row 20 min apart on a Saturday morning. First person left unintelligible message with thick Spanish accent. Second person called left message with Indian accent and I could make out him saying my name, then "IRS" and the phone number. Then they called again, some guy named "Vincent" and I picked up. He said I need to call a "Mark Victor" a this (585) 444-7053 number regarding tax issue. I asked where he was and who he was. He said New York and gave his operator number as 1037610980. I had him repeat it. I tried calling "Mark Victor" of supposed IRS at this number and get a "the person you are trying to reach is not available - please leave a message." Then there is a beep, and I tried to leave message but it says "the mailbox is full."
Caller name: Mike Anderson/Jason O'Connor
Told me that I owe back taxes from IRS and threatened that there is a court case against me by the IRS and that they are going to confiscate my property, my debit/credit card/ , my car. He said if I wanted to solve this, I could get a tax check money order from Albertsons/safeway and send it to him. b*****d! By that time my boyfriend took the phone and told him off in "Shakespearean" language. I almost believed the scammer because he sounded official. Be very careful of this scammer.
Caller name: none given, heavy Indian accent
Yep 9:20 am, got a call from this number, they wouldn't answer, i hung up. they immediately called back, said they were IRS asked to speak to my wife by name, and said it was very important to call as we have legal issues pending.
I told them just what they wanted to hear I guess, that I would make certain that she calls, so the call ended.
Then of course I googled the number, something just didn't seem "right" about it.
Caller name: Mark victor
Got a call at 0830 on Sat 04/19/14, telling I have IRS fraudulent charges against me and they are about to send police to get me arrested, I can resolve the issue by paying money via tax payer cheque. Even said that they have sended a mail at my previous address. While I was talking with them my wife called 911 and informed them about this call, 911 personnel immediately said that this a fraud going around and we should ignore this phone
Caller name: IRS and Home Land Security Agent
These people are president's Bush's relatives. He is the one who sent all the jobs outside the USA and credit cards services to India and Philippines like countries. Now Indians and Philippinos have all the information about our credit cards and bank accounts, including our phone number, names, addresses social security numbers. They are selling our information in the market to make more money. They only target people with the foreign names threatening and harassing. Most of them are using devices like Magic Jacks, Ooma and Net Talk to make a call using/abusing VOIP technology. But US Government is not doing anything to protect citizens.
Received a call from a very broken English speaking Asian woman claiming to be with the IRS. Can't the IRS track these people down and close them up once and for all. If the caller ID had not recorded this number I could not have understood her to return the call as her English was that bad!
Caller name: Jason O'Conner
Received a call from a person with a thick Indian accent identifying himself as Jason O'Conner from the IRS. Said if I did not return the call to be prepared to face the legal consequences. My CPA received a call like this on a Saturday at 6:30 A.M. and proceeded to inform fake IRS guy the real IRS does not make phone calls. Fake IRS guy then said he would come to my friends house and "F*** your wife like a horse!" Someone needs to tar and feather these people.
Caller name: Lisa Martin
Ms. Lisa Martin sounded like she should be deported with her terrible English. Allegedly calling from IRS and I asked her if she worked for the IRS she could not say a simple yes or no. She told me to get ready for legal action. What a loser. People like this should be shot and quartered.
