I got a phone call that was a recording about a car warranty last week and hung up; then today, I received the same call. Since I just changed my phone number in the last 6 months, I occasionally get wrong number calls for the guy who had my number previously. I thought this was for his car, so I pressed 1 to have a representative call me back. The phone rang within a minute. A person mumbled "Uh, hello this is Chuck with....*inaubilble mumbles...* I'm calling about the extended warranty on your vehicle." I responded, "Hi, I keep getting calls from yall, I just changed my number, so I think it's for the person who had it before me." Chuck just goes UUUGGGHH and hangs up. Not only are you telemarketing, which is annoying as it is, YOU ARE RUDE AS f**k! I am 17, I don't even have a f*****g car! Also, Chuck, if you're reading this, learn to enunciate and you'd get a job that wasn't telemarketing. SUCK MY d**k, CHUCK!

same as all above. I had them call back on purpose so that I could ask to be taken from the list (this is a business and they are calling on one of the rollover numbers... always a sure sign of junk call). I took the call back but asked which car they were calling about as we had several. Long pause. "Ford" I said "We don't have a Ford". Click. He hung up.

Also an electronic call from a local Arizona number first, telling me that this was the second and final notice to renew my warranty, and that I should expect a call back. The call back came from 570 983 3781, and the caller asked me the make and model of my car, and the approximate mileage. When I told him it was a 2011 model with a mileage of about 14 000, we suddenly got 'cut off'. I guess my newish car didn't quite fit the bill. Lucky for me, because I didn't suspect a scam until that point.

Electronic call first then call back from this number. Identified himself as Joe and when asked where 'Warrantee Solutions' was located he said 'NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS' and hung up.

Caller was very rude.

As said in the previous comments, it is a company called Warranty Solutions, but they have no knowledge of any current warranty on your vehicle, or even if you have one or not. With calls like this, I like to cash some happy checks and become a character named Boris Stalinoskovichdavidovichski, the used weapons dealer from Warsaw, Poland. The calls don't usually last long.

Told them my vehicle was a lease, and they said they woudl update their records. Then they called the next day.

Save the # as DO NOT ANSWER. Then when they call again in a month you will know to not answer. That's what I do.

The first call was from a (847) 592-8825 then I was switched over to a person who was attempting to sell the extended warranty for my vehicle. He went from one person to another and called his "manager" over to quote me a lesser price. When I stated I wasn't giving him my debit or credit card over the phone, his comment was "Why Not? When I stated I wasn't purchasing and would be hanging up, he asked Why would you do that? I hung up.

Looks like the warranty scammers are coming back. Maybe they think the government shutdown means no one can come after them?

How these morons even know if I have a car?

I asked the jerk I spoke to who he was trying to reach and he said "YOU!"

I asked who that might be and he said that he could not reveal my name due to "privacy issues."

I've been receiving automated calls for over 6 months regarding "the warranty on my vehicle" and renewal of said warranty. My vehicle, however, has NEVER had a warranty. When I finally dialed through the auto attendant to get to a real person, I asked him what the angle was and he instantly disconnected the call.

This number just called me after a recorded message told me my warranty was about to expire on my car. Odd because I bought an extended warranty. The guy who called me told me I should buy an extended warranty, I asked him how he got my number, he said the dealership. Then I asked him what was the term on my original warranty - he hung up on me.

Another number will call before this one with a recorded message saying that the warranty is getting ready to expire on your vehicle. Then if you push the right # this number will call you with a telemarkter trying to sell you an extended warranty for your car. My car is a year old and I already purchased an extended warranty through the dealer....when I told the caller that the creep hung up on me.

This number called trying to sell me insurance after using an automated call. I am on the Do Not Call List. Clearly a violation in my opinion.
