Similar to other recent calls for free Medical Alert alarm scams. Opens with an offer for free $3,000 in grocery certificates before getting to the point about a "free" medic alarm service.

Of course they ignore the Federal Do Not Call list, which certainly tells you something about their business practices, doesn't it?

Here is a transcript of the call:

If you or a family member are 60 years old or older, you now qualify under the new National Senior Assistance Program to receive $3,000 in free grocery savings certificates. They can be used at over one hundred major grocery chains across the US. In addition to your $3,000 in savings certificates you will receive a free emergency medical alert bracelet or necklace. This medical alert device is designed to save your life if you ever experience a fall or any other emergency. Press 1 now to speak to a representative and have your $3,000 savings certificate mailed directly to you and learn more about the risk free offer. Again, press 1 now for more information or press 5 to be removed from this opt-in list."

called for the 4th time tonight. pressed 1 to speak with a sales associate and when we asked to be placed on the do not call list, the woman hung up abruptly. There does not seem to be a way to help stop the calls!
