lady calls herself Giada , called said there was a problem with my computer, said she was with Microsoft; I told her, I had requested that they not call me at my home.
She said there was still a problem with my computer. I did not request help, this is the fourth time I have received calls about my computer, from people claiming to be microsoft. All four times the people speaking had definite Indian accents. The phone ID did not read Microsoft. I do not appreciate being called by scam artists. I am on the do Not CAll List!

This number has called many times. I answer. The heavily accented voice on the other end identifies himself as Andrew. I play along with him but tell him I can't get to my computer. He always calls back. Finally I called him a criminal. He hung up but called me back 3 times just seconds between calls to call me an idiot and a*****e.
Say there is a problem with my computer, such as a virus. Kept asking if I was the only user of the computer. Put another guy on phone- both had foreign accents. Have called several days. Told me to get on my computer and tell him what I saw. Kept saying something about lower left "Ctrl" button.

This is such an OLD scam. They call, claiming to be from Microsoft or Apple's computer management division. They say that while on line you have picked up a virus, spyware, or some other type of malicious script and it is sending them messages, but if you let them log on to your computer (remote access), then they will fix it.
Whatever you do...DO NOT, give them access to your computer. Your computer will be turned into one of their computer routers or system hubs, or the information will be stolen, or they'll install ransom-ware or another type of inappropriate software. Microsoft does not call you! Apple does not call you!!
If you are not computer literate, then find a reputable local computer repair shop and have them use the latest software to scan your computer.

I've read articles that someone will call and ask if you can hear them, and when you say yes, they record it and use your voice to approve fraudulent charges. Just a tip - they also say hello a couple times as well as ask if you're there, before they get to asking if you can hear them.

Someone keeps calling from several different numbers saying my PC has a virus. They are very obnoxious and will not take no for an answer. These scam calls are so time consummining and very very irritatingly. Blocking the number doesn't do any good, they simply call from a different number.
