I did not answer this call either but looked it up here and wanted to document that I also use Quickbooks and process credit card payments and they called my cell phone which is the business phone associated with both of those programs. Maybe we need to notify Quickbooks?

Some indian bitc# called to ask to talk to "my accounts receivable". I said NO. she asked what account app we're using. I told her that she does not pay me to answer her questions and wished she has a good day. Scammers.

Same as everyone else, ID's himself as being from Sage then asked if we used Sage software asked for Accts receivable, asked if we used any sage products such as Sage, Peachtree, or Quickbooks (which is not a sage product mind you) then asked if we process credit cards. Then asked when was best to call back to speak with A/R.

They called and I immediately knew it was a phony call so I told "Jessica" with an accent to remove me from their calling list and she said I would have to answer two questions and after I refused she hung up on me and said she will try again later. GRRRRRRRR

As always, I didn't answer but let it go to VM. They didn't let it ring enough to go to Voice Mail. Jotted down the # and went online as always. Glad I didn't pick- up. BUT I too use Quickbooks and process credit cards online for my vacation rental. I suspect the common denominator here may be Quickbooks, or possibly those of us who advertise our rentals on HomeAway.com with our phone numbers to call for bookings. It designates whether we take credit cards or not online in our ads. I chose not to use HomeAway's credit card processing, optinng to stay with Intuit. It may be that they are calling everyone who does NOT use HomeAway's credit card service. It's a jungle out there!

Received a call asking for accounts-payable or accounts receivable person then asking what brand of accounting software is currently being used. Asked if theirs we are using including a short list that had Quickbooks on it.

I said "No".

They asked if we were processing payments by credit card and I said "No."

And they hung up on me.

Same as above, asked what software of theirs we are using including a short list that had Quickbooks on it. Sounded very sketchy, eastern european or russian accent.
