Caller name: Paul - Medical Alerts
CID shows Albany, NY Paul from Shipping at Medical Alerts. (Robocall/recording) Claims have a "paid for" medical alert system and just needing to confirm my address. Also offering "if you act now" 75% off prescription discount.
Caller name: None given
Some supposed 'medical specialist' referred my name. It is for a medical alert system.
First it is a lie, my Doctor did not refer me.
I have been on the Do not call list for along time.
I am reporting every single one of these calls, fat lot of good it will do but at least it something.
"Be shipped to you since you've already been referred by a medical professional. You will also receive a $100 gift card redeemable from Walmart Home Depot Best Buy and many more. Again, press one to receive your free personal medical alert system. Or press 9 to opt out."
Rats, does this mean I missed out on $300 + in gift cards?
Really, how gullible do "they" think we are? Do Not Call Registry is a joke/scam in itself.
rec'd call at 2.02 PM MDT 01-09-14 recorded male voice said that since we had already been referred by a medical professional all we had to do was to "press button" to recieve our "free package". Press 9 to opt out. I blocked the number instead.
P.S. family member under treatment at home by medical professionals(?). Makes you wonder, doesn't it?
Caller name: RED WING,MN
"This is Paul from the shipping department at medical..."
Hung up. Obvious bogus robocall. They had called four hours earlier but I had ignored it. I thought I'd answer it this time so it would register an answered call but reading some of the other reports it might not matter.
Caller name: Paul
Paul calls me regularly as well as men claiming to be my oldest grandson. No kids! No grandkids.
Police personnel have told me these calls cannot be traced because the callers use a phone with prepaid minutes. My TracFone has prepaid minutes. Last night I goggled Spokeo and input my TracFone number. Sure enough, for a small fee I could access the individual's full name (me) and current address as well as other info. Why can't the Police Department trace these calls on Spokeo? I don't know.
Paul has been phoning me for months as well as other individuals representing medical alert device companies.
Caller name: Paul
I keep getting calls from Paul about a medecal alert system being delivered. I am told to press 1, which I do and no one comes to the phone. I am told to press 9 to opt out, and I have opted out several times and continue to receive these annoying calls for a medical alert system which I DO NOT WANT.
Caller name: Didn't hear it
I have Comcast's answering machine that picks up calls if I'm talking to someone. I was on the phone with my mother and I heard the click indicating a call was coming in. After I finished my conversation, I checked my answering machine and the message said:
Voicemail from (518) 417-4891
"You are now eligible for a seventy five percent off prescription discount card. Again press one now to receive your free personal medical alert system. Or press nine to opt out."
I've been on the "do not call" list for several years, but these calls for medic alerts keep coming. Sometimes I get 2 or even 3 calls in a single day.
Caller name: Paul
I'm getting this exact same call almost weekly now. It's always a recording saying something along the lines of: "Hi, this is Paul from the shipping department. Your medi-alert system is ready to be shipped..etc".
I always hang up on them but the just keep calling back.
