Asked for an application fee for a State University of NY school that I had applied to and said they wouldn't release my b application to the school until it was done.
Said the only way was to say the credit card number over the phone.
Every college I've paid a fee for has had it available on the college website through a secure portal. No one asks for your credit card.
When I called my actual college, they said they already got my application and didn't need a fee.
