I've spoken to these people several times. They all sound like they are Indian and they say that my Phone Number has been selected to receive free grants. I've told them 4 times that I was not interested and that they should remove my phone number from their list. Another person from the same number calls again in a short while. I'm blocking their number from my cell and I'm going to report them to the FCC. Don't answer your phone!!!
I get a call about educational grants, but every time they actually talk to me they sound foreign, and it sounds like they are talking to me through a windstorm. I stopped answering questions after I was transferred and still could not hear them. I told them several times I could not hear a word they were saying and eventually stopped answering the call altogether. They have called my cell phone 3x today.
They knew my name. (let's pretend my name is lisa) the first time they called they said I could receive a grant from the government but I could barley understand a word they said. The second phone call that I answered the first thing they said was, "I love you lisa, lisa...I love you" and then when I asked who this was they said they live in clevland or something then said "lets try this again" and hung up. I am using verizon to block this number immediately. btw the indian accents are fake. I heard them switching between indian and american accents very annoying.
Multiple numbers, including this, from india, call my cell incessantly. I think they are gaining access through The Weather Channel app I downloaded. Banners for schools and grants are always there.i don't ever access them, but they still call incessantly.
I immediately "ignore" all calls. Also beware 567-252-5216.
So, it's either thru Verizon, Android, or TWC app.
Caller name: Charlie
This number calls me 8-9 times a day. I have only answered a few times and told them to place me on their DNC list. The last time they called, I told "Charlie" this was the last time I was going to ask them and the next time I would file charges for harassment. He then informed me several time that he would like to f*** me. I am tired of these people calling me!

This number has been calling me for a month, several times a week, and up to three times per day. If I do not answer they leave a blank voice message. Sometimes when I pick up there will be no response. When they do respond, they tell me about some "free money" that they have for me from the "US government." I explain that I am not interested and would very much like to be removed from their calling list. They get upset and say that I am the "first woman not to want free money!" When I told them I was fed up and I would report them to the FCC, the man said, "Can I just tell you one more thing, miss? You have a REALLY sweet voice." Due to his accent, I had trouble understanding the adjective he was using and so he repeated that phrase three more times. When I understood, I hung up the phone. I finally had them blocked. A similar number has called about "education opportunities" several times. Same deal. Unbelievable.
they keep calling me, numerous times a day. today i answered and told them to take me off their list and to stop calling, and he said something like "i love you, ______, I love you" and THENNNNNN started calling me an "effing" "b-word"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it says it's coming from NY but i can't tell. it's making me mad and freaked out. i put my number on the Do Not Call list today so maybe that will help. I need to call ATT to find out how to block these a-holes. It is very interesting to see how many other people are having the SAME PROBLEM as me. creeeeepy....
These apparently Asian people have called me at least once per day this week. Yesterday I asked the idiot to please put me on the no call list, and he got rude and repeated my request in a mocking tone of voice. The number is now on call block on my phone. If anyone gets these calls at home, I would suggest putting them on hold for as long as they will stay on the line. If everyone does this they will be able to make less calls.
