When company calls they state they are calling to lower your interest rate on all of your credit cards.
However, the only personnel that can do this is your bank that you have your credit card with or your credit card provider you have your credit card with.
They don't even ask to speak to certain individual and when you answer the phone and press 1, this is T-Mobile Cell Phone Number based out of Des Moines Iowa, they say are wanting take advantage credit card percentage reduction rate they hang up on you try and ask questions of them.

They call twice in 9 minutes wanting to reduce my credit card rate. I told the lady that was speaking to me that I didn't have a credit card and she hung up on me. I tried to dial the number back but it goes to a voice mail and it is full so you can not leave a message. They have called me a total 18 times in the last 100 incoming calls on my caller ID and that is 18 times too many over the last 6 days!!!!!

This number calls me all the time about lowering my interest rate on my credit cards. I don't even have credit cards. I usually hang up but today I connected to a person to ask for my number to be removed. I was told to "quit whining over a phone call because there are people starving in Africa. Shame on me for whining over a phone call when there are bigger things going on in the world." When I stated that although this true, I would still like my number to be removed from their call list, the response was, "we will call you again tomorrow, good bye". I wasn't rude, just asked for my number to be removed from their call list. GRRRRRRR
I am getting very irritated from these people from the 515-770-8070 from Des Moines IA. I too am on the No Call Registry and have been since it started and these people have found a way around it. If you look at the No Call Registry it tells you who all can legal call you even if you are on the NCR. This one number is a bot stating I have several credit cards and owing and I need to basically pay up because I am behind. I have 1 credit card and I am in no way behind. It say press 1 to speak to someone to help me lessen my credit debt I owe so I took the bait ....a man answered and asked me how many credit cards I had and how much in all did I owe and I said I have one and I dont even owe on it $500.00 and he hung up. I will be a little brighter next time and give him fake numbers to just gt to there company name.

This company is calling my 91 year old father-in-law and he is afraid he is in trouble with his credit card. We are on the Do Not Call list and have been for years but this company could care less.
Please have them stop calling.
Same as most people, I am on the Do Not Call registry as well, and have been receiving phone calls from this number offering to lower my interest rate on my credit cards. Got the hang-up treatment when I told the caller I don't have any credit cards. This is clearly a scam targeting the elderly, the impressionable, and the vulnerable, and it's unacceptable. Tried to phone back and was conveniently blocked by this T-Mobile number based out of Iowa. So much for professionalism and legitimacy. The best thing for it is to simply not answer the phone when these scammers call.

I get this call daily and this time I waited to speak with someone and the moment he asked whether I wanted to lower my interest rates I interrupted and asked him to remove me from their lists and he immediately hung up.
Next time I would suggest everyone play along, give them fake info until you get a real number to return a call and get the company name.

I am so tired of these calls that now are coming from Mobile Numbers so I can't ID them. When I ask to be taken off the list (I am on a DO NOT CALL LIST) they immediately hang up. When I follow the prompt to lower my bills, they ask very intrusive questions which I would never give out to a telemarketer. How is it that we can't block these calls? I am sick and tired of it and it happens to my elderly parents who panic when they get them. Messages like "We have tried to reach you and this is your last chance..." Lets stop their access to numbers that have chosen to be unlisted or on do not call lists

These guys change their numbers around and are very brazen. I've taken the tact of being nice to them to try and sweet talk one into removing my number from their list but to no avail. Some of the agents even take the time to say some smart-a*s comment. The tough thing is that my wife and I both work a number of days out of the house and these calls interrupt ALL sorts of stuff.
These guys are breaking laws by doing this stuff - I just can't believe that the FCC can't police this stuff better and shut these guys down permanently. Maybe have to have a license to make these sorts of calls and anyone calling without the license risks jail time. That would put some teeth in the laws.
Cell Phone robo call "this is an important message about your current credit card." By then the recording hung up when my answer machine beeped to start recording their message they wanted to leave.
No not press any buttons or call them back. Some robo calls are illegal: http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0259-robocalls
I get these calls all the time about offers to lower credit card rates. They get around the "do Not Call" list by claiming it is an "informational call" and not a sales call. Until that kind of call is banned, we will keep getting them. (Isn't any sales call considered an informational call?)
