They keep calling. I'm not sure how they got my number, as its unlisted and unpublished. I won't answer, its fraud and should be shut down and arrested.

Caller name: Marketing survey

Caller type: Survey

I just received a call and told them I was not interested in taking the survey and I hung up. Then the same number called back twice and when I answered they hung up. This is total abuse and disrespect on me who does not want to take surveys. I also believe that it was someone from IPSO REID.

this number calls every day. It has said that it was a survey one day and a seller of goods the next. This number has no respect and should be investigated for fraud.

My number is on the 'do not call' list. While political parties, research organizations and charities are not required to observe this list, I would have thought they would take a hint from the fact that people have taken the trouble to put their names on it.

IPSOS Reid my balls! The only place this number shows up is on websites like this one. If it were an IPSOS number, wouldn't it be on their website? Also, while IPSOS has a Montreal office, that city is also the telefraud capital of North America.

Good for them for getting my number (or dialling every number there is), but I have a prepaid phone. My minutes are precious, and not to be wasted on telemarketers, IVR surveys or fraudsters. Needless to say, I didn't answer.

It's a market research company called Ipsos. I used to work for them. We don't sell anything. The surveys we do are strictly voluntary, and you have to ask to be put on the Do Not Call list. All the numbers are randomly computer generated, unless the company we are doing the survey for gives us a list of numbers. We do not know ANY of your personal information, except your name (if given), and phone number. All of the information you give us is kept confidential, and your name is not linked to your info in any way. It's not company policy to leave a message. Many of the companies that use Ipsos do the surveys to gauge how well their products and services are doing, and to see if there are any complaints. They are designed to help people. One of the best companies I have worked for. The only reason I quit was because my wife got a job offering in another state, and Ipsos did not have a call center based in that state.

Just got a call twice today and looked up the number.

I briefly worked at a telesurvey job (a day and a half, ha) and remember being told or hearing that someone needs to mention being put on the do not call list 3 times for it to be acknowledged. Its messed up.

Didn't answer though, wonder how often they'll try.

I registered a new home phone number 3 days ago. The number is unlisted. The only human beings on earth with my new number are the ADT alarm monitoring company. Today, on Sunday, I get a call from these guys asking for me by my full name... The only way they got my number is: 1. ADT sold the number; or 2: the phone company (Cablevision) of NY sold my number

If the company is ipsos Reid ...the CEO is Gary Bennewies.
I'd like to find his number an start calling him all day long for days
And see what he does. It's fine if these people have a job to do and maybe someone people do take these surveys. but if we tell them to stop callin or were not interested, then it should end! I'm obviously not answering my phone for a reason so stop calling me!

Called me on my cell phone at 830pm on Feb 14, said he was blah blah from Ipso something and he was conducting a survey and asked if i was in a safe place to answer the questions, i asked him who he was and why he was calling me from Quebec, he again said ipso something and said he knew this was probably a cell phone but still proceeded to ask if I was in a safe place to answer questions. I said that he had called a cell phone and That i wanted to know where he got my number and for it to be removed from whatever list he had, he said he wanted to speak to an adult of 19 years of age about a survey on cell phones, i said where did you get my number (very sternley) he then said the number was generated online and that they have a do not call list that it can be added to, then he hung up... Kinda creeped me out when he kept asking if i was in a safe place to talk

I keep getting calls from this number 514-904-3190 on my land line as well as my mobile now.

I now see there is a long distance charge from my mobile service provider FIDO for an outgoing call to this number I never made.

Why isn't the CRTC phone registry working? Or do something to punish these pesky operators? Don't they have anything better to do????

This girl called from this phone number asked about a water emergency call that I supposedly made. I never made that call. She kept asking about that call. I kept explaining that I never made that call. She wouldnt give up about the call I never made. Later I called the water company, they said it sounds very fishy.

I googled this number 1-514-904-3190 last week. Its spam out of Montreal. It called twice last week and twice tonight. My answering machine has the option of letting me hear the number calling and when I hear this number my husband and I don't answer it. They never leave a message either.
Like another complaint I saw my number is also unlisted and a landline number.

Quebec is the crime and graft centre of North America, it is infested with phone scammers because they operate there unharrassed. I suspect they have the Prov Police on the kick-back list. Block all quebec area codes on your phone - they speak some dead, foreign language there as I have been told by the RCMP.
