I only started getting all the unwanted telemarketing / robo calls when I switched my number to Magic Jack. I got ZERO unwanted called for 10 years and 3 weeks after transferring my number to magicjack I get 2-5 a day. Anyone have the same experience?
You can report this number day in and day out and nothing will ever change! I never answer my home phone and I always have missed called from telemarketers and probably scam artists just trying to get your info. What is the no call list suppose to do. It obviously does work. Go figure it was set up by the government.
Caller name: not listed
The recorded message didn't even state what the service being offered was, but I would receive a "free bonus" for being a "satisfied customer". The recorded message seemed to begin in the middle of a sentence, toward the end of the "pitch."
Please remove this automated annoyance.
Caller name: Lying Spooks
NOT a carpet cleaning business. Data mining Spooks - do you pick up? What time of day? Who answers? Punch button #2? If you respond they OWN you. (do not do any of those things) Unregulated investigators of the scummiest type; Scum sucking bottom feeders working for collection agencies, attorneys, and "trust me" agencies of your guvrmint. Google search 'Deep Web' to understand what is really going on. Your best tactic is - Do Not Engage with liars on any level.
Caller name: Samantha
Calling from a Spoofed Number, Company Call themselves, "Human Green" Carpet cleaning. They are Really calling to see IF we are done having s*x with their Sister! The number they are calling from is Actually a Banks Fax machine in Washington. People with No Life!
Caller name: "Out of area"
Scumbags pretending to sell crapet cleaning services. We're on the DNCR, and have filed a complaint against them. If they keep calling, we'll report them to the TFC and TCC. Let's "clean" those vermines from our planet!
Got the same message. Got a quote off liberty insurance last week. Think it's related to that!
The "Do Not Call List" is working. Wake up! This caller is a thief. And thieves don't care or have access to the Do Not Call List!
You're not the only one, but I'm amazed that so many people believe this is a problem with the DNC list and that the calls you receive are real telemarketers. IF YOU'RE ON THE DNC LIST, THEN ASSUME THIEF! It's that simple folks.
Caller name: None given
No name and no message left when I didn't answer. This is not the first time someone from this number has called me.
Reverse lookups are a joke, as you can never find out the identity of the caller who continually leaves hang-ups..
RE: CALL BLOCKING/UNWANTED CALLS
If do not recognize the phone number I do not answer the phone. I also have a HP Officejet J3680 All-In-One, fax/copier/scanner/printer with caller ID and Junk Fax call Blocker which stores up to (200) phone numbers. If I do not answer a phone after (5) rings the fax will turn on, and will print a "failed" fax report showing the suspect caller phone number (which is better than having a voice mail service answer, which might give out personal information like your name, or even your gender by the sound of your voice). With a quick phone number search using a Google incognito window I can find out if the number is identified on any of the websites as a scam or harassment caller, and if is, I scroll through the call log on the fax machine and add the number to the block list, so I will not be bothered and the calls are ignored. :) The fax junk call blocker is a built in free service of the All-In-One, so I do not have to pay monthly, like some of the other call blocking services available. Also note, I am on the Federal Do Not Call List and should not be getting unwanted calls in the first place. Bye
