This guy took my number off of my posting on Craigslist and called me. Not about the ad, but just to bother me. He asked me question after question about random stuff. I thought he would lead up to talking about what I posted, but he never did, so I asked him, "What is this call regarding?" He completely ignored my question and kept talking. I continued to ask him to get to the point, and once again, he ignored me and kept asking and asking random questions. Maybe he's just a lonely guy looking for random people to talk to, he didn't seem too creepy, but the point is that he called just to bother me.

same as above, very vague, just rambled on, when I asked him specific questions about his art he became agitated nd yelled at me that I was not listening when he never listened but complained about his life. Sad really. I texted him a screen capture of all these complaints and told him not to contact me again. I warned him i was an ex cop and I have zero tolerance for harassment.. He got my name off of my business card I leave around town. I am an illustrator/graphic designer. Troubled!

Jim called me too, left a voice message asking me to call him back. Then he followed up and called me again. After reading these complaints I blocked his number

This person has called our business at least 3 times in the past two weeks. He's evasive when talking about a project that he wants us to work on, and he will avoid answering when asked for his information for us to call him back. Two different people in our office have taken his call and he definitely gives creep/weirdo vibes. He calls just to waste your time.

Same issue. Just called me today twice. And just wants to talk about how he wants to move somewhere where he fits in and asking questions about the area where I'm at. I was polite but probably won't answer anymore it's clear that this person got in my number from a card or from one of my Craigslist ad

So this guy got our number off a business card and keeps calling, super evasive, doesn't want to talk about anything in particular. He says his name is Jim, and disregards request that he not call again... especially since he is not interested in the business, only the people who work for it. Definitely a creeper vibe. Has anyone had actual contact or tried the police department?

Jim called asking for my help with his computer. Didn't understand simple concepts like "download" and "harddrive" etc. so it was very hard to talk about what he really needed. He kept go off on a rant about things that made life hard for him.

Wouldn't agree to my price and wouldn't talk about a meeting place.
I felt bad but I also felt afraid that this irritation would escalate into something
physically violent if I met him in person.

We didn't agree on anything and just hung up.

Wow. complaints about this guy year after year. He did practically the same thing to me as the first person commented, but he was certainly creepy. I own a business and he called inquiring about it, when it wouldn't even suit his needs. I'm not saying specifically what business because I don't want to hear back from this guy. He was rude and I'm extremely creeped out.

I have also had the exact same problem with this guy. So evidently his name is Jim. I put up a posting on craigslist for a house share. He evaded all of my questions via text and just wanted to tellme about how he's had a hard time here and doesn't have cool friends as he put it.... I blocked his number.

Same thing as above just happened at our company. Apparently, he found our number online and left multiple messages. When I called him back and asked how we could help he got weirdly defensive. In addition to extreme loneliness/boredom, I'm guessing there's a mental health issue here. Good luck!

This guy is completely insane, he called our business 4 times in one day and just seemed like he wasn't sure what he needed. Kept saying he has ideas for our general manager that he wants to run by him. He would never leave his name or number for call backs. Does not take simple instructions well or concepts. Blocked him from future contact.

Called asking who I was when I returned his call. When I asked who he was calling for he said he just wrote my number down apparently and couldn't remember why. I've never done any business with people on the West Coast before so I knew it wasn't someone from a business meeting. When he pressed for who I was I told him my first name and insisted on knowing who he was trying to reach. When he asked me what I did for a living I hung up. He called me back and left a voicemail. After listening to it I looked his number up and saw all these complaints filed. Blocking his number now. So strange.

Weird man who calls us occasionally and then complains about the way we answer the phone or says that he can't hear us. Obnoxious.

This person called our buisness and seemed to be interested at first in what we had to sell, then it quickly became very personal. He was telling me stories about his family life and relationships he's had in the past. After I hung up because we had other customers, he showed up and made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. This was a few days ago, and he called today to 'check in'. Just to clarify, this man hasn't done anything yet, he just seems like a possible threat. He's just creepy and lonely.

Strange, JIM SLOAN, doesn't like his last name. Very easily offended. Called about an add I had on Craigslist for a room. He is supposedly in Oregon but had researched the area where the house is at, in great detail. Just kept asking questions, and didn't want to hang up. He has called twice now.
