Caller name: Optum

Caller type: Unknown

Received a phone call today from 501-436-6017. I did not answer the call since I did not recognize the number. The voicemail didn't pick up the company's name if the person (which sounded a lot like a recording) left it. Was given the number 844-752-9441 between 8-6CST M-F.
When I called, she asked me questions. It was a company called Optum (which DHS/Medicaid does partner with). I told her I would not give her any information. She recommended me to contact DHS to find out what the call was regarding and then I could call back once I felt comfortable with giving them information.

Caller name: Optum with Department of Human Services

Caller type: Scammer/Fraudster

I was left a voicemail with an individual's name on behalf of Optum claiming as a department of Department of Humane Services. They were informing me that I needed to schedule an in-home assessment for my time. They have his name and I did call back I was directed immediately to a female named Shelby who said she's from Pennsylvania that this is a call center time situation. When I requested to speak with superior She would not give me their name.
She took my phone number and informed me that I'd be getting a call back. I asked her when I should expect what you said within 2 to 3 business days I asked her which weekend days were included or excluded she said they're close the entire weekend. She repeatedly requested as to what it was in reference too. I informed her that it was in reference to her however I have my rights and do not have to disclose any more information to her and I can discuss any issues with her superior and it would be handled from there.

She was extremely rude however I would say that she was very determined to send appointment. I would honestly worried as to what information she "must have ". She said that this schedule has to be made for this appointment. That is my primary care physician and not already informed me of one then I would risk losing all my services. So when I informed her that I am able to schedule appointment with my doctor that I should be fine we should be able to schedule with Lopez apartment. She said because I had not already known about this that I was in fact she was extremely rude however I would say that she was very determined to send appointment. I would almost be worried as to what information she "must have ". She said that this schedule has to be made for this appointment. That is my primary care physician and not already informed me of one then I would risk losing all my services. So when I informed her that I am able to schedule appointment with my doctor that I should be fine we should be able to schedule with Lopez Carmen. She said because I had not already known about this that I was in fact having to schedule this appointment with their department and there would be no other way to do so.

I made a point to call my local DHS office. I spoke with the receptions is in regards to this and also gave her the numbers. If I did not mention earlier they had called me from one number but left a different callback number. Also when I had called the number separately magically I was put in touch with the exact same cell representative who was unable to transfer me and you or else there's no types of direct line. The receptionist at the DHS office took the numbers and informed me that there were no current near it is on my case and that this seems to be a reoccurring scam.
