I work in the call center at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) this number calls numerous numbers on campus throughout the day more than 3000 calls a day it needs to be blocked several of the department heads are getting ready to file a suite for harrasment to the Arkansas Attorney Generals Office. 1 or 2 calls is understandable but not 3000. Thank You
Caller name: business office
This numbers calls everyday its a collection agency wanting money for a cell phone bill i havet had that cell phone Since july 2014 i have no job my husbsnd has no job what more do they want from us
This place calls me talking about collection for a phone bill. Yet I've had a prepaid phone (straight talk) for like 5 years with an unlocked bring your own phone that was purchased from ebay. Tell me how I owe money? Whoever starts this lawsuit I'm down to get involved.
I have had several calls from this number, always as the above people stated - no one ever came on the line. Today I talked to a real person who did not give his name, but said he needed to talk to me about a financial matter. He confirmed my name and street address, but then said for security purposes he needed my date of birth. When I said no - he said he could verify my identity with only the year of my birth. I asked him that company he was calling on behalf of, and he said he could only reveal that if I confirmed my identity by providing date of birth, I told him I had no interest in any financial matters with him, and he said if I was worried about fraud I could call him back at the number he called from.
They obviously have a very poor call center technology, since it appears the vast majority of robo-calls are answered before a rep is available (thus the no one there issues), but overall the call could be very believable to people who are not focused on protecting personal information as I am in my business. I am assuming this is a scam. Tried to string him along to get more information but he was well trained.
