Caller name: Informed Electo

I received an initial call from this number and answered. I could tell it was a human being and not a computerized caller. The one question asked whether or not I had voted in the last presidential election. I replied and the caller thanked me and asked if I would be willing to receive future one question calls regarding politics in the future. I said ok. The next call I received was from a human being who said he was following up on the previous call made to me and would I answer another question. He told me that my answer would be recorded. I said yes. He asked me about whether or not I preferred political decisions to be made at the state or federal level. I replied and the caller thanked me . He then went into a long period of telling me about the role of the Informed Electorate survey and said that it was a start up and in need of funds to continue with collecting information from callers and asked for a $20 donation. I responded that I didn't have the funds available at this time. The caller said I could give him my credit card or checking information and that they would hold off for 45 days before submitting the monetary request. I told them to send me a letter and I would respond to the letter. The caller went on to talk about the added cost of postage and I told him if he wanted me to contribute he would need to send me the letter. He reluctantly agreed and asked that I make sure to respond as soon as I get the letter. He told me the letter would be coming from a third-party entity, which I can't remember at this time. Needless to say, I won't be responding. Once I receive the letter, I'll follow up.

Real person on line, called twice and asked one question each time. Third call asked for $20 donation. Stupidly, I gave him my address and email tho both could probably be found via my phone # anyway. Will not send any money.

This is a scam call asking you if you voted or not. If you say "Yes", it is recorded and used to strip your bank accounts or make charges to your accounts. If someone you don't know asks you a Yes or No question on the phone, NEVER say "Yes." You will be sorry.

312-667-9781 called 1 Oct 2016 on 9:54pm. CID reads SURV INFORMELEC. Auto-dialer Robocall one-question survey about whether or not I would be voting in the upcoming election. The follow-up call ID was 469-701-0053, INFORMED ELECTO. Disguised as a "political survey" asking one question then calling back later for funding.

Did not answer my phone, as I did not recognize the number nor do I know anyone in Texas. Based on my research this is another PAC. Blocked them. They have a website www.votethewill.org I emailed them and let them know that my number is on the DO NOT CALL LIST (not that the list really works) and if they called me again I would report them to the Attny General's Office. I also found that they are listed, via PO Box, out of Salt Lake City, Utah. Their listed tel. number is 1-888-737-4838. Guess I'll call them on another phone I have 'til midnight. So far so good.

I had the exact same experience but about the third call they asked for money I told them no, that they hadn't told me anything about paying for anything when I agreed to take the political surveys. I told them in no uncertain terms that I wouldn't give them a dime and to take me off their call list. A few weeks later they called again and only asked the survey question. They have called a few times since and only asked their survey question and have never asked for money again. I don't know if they are legitimate or not but as long as they only ask questions I will answer them but I will never give money.

Caller name: "Nathan" at Infor Electo

These folks woke me up at 8:45 A.M. I did not answer. They called back at 12:51 P.M. and family member handed me the phone. A male representative who identified himself as 'Nathan' asked for my husband by his first name. I replied that I could help him. He said he wanted to speak to the "man of the house". I replied, you ARE speaking to the man of the house; long silence proceeded. He said he was conducting a political survey, and maybe he should call another time. I wish these people would 'get off my back'.

This is a scam. Ask if you voted, want you to say YES, they are recording your voice. Possibly using your agreement to change your long distance carrier if a landlines. You can say you voted a ballot. Don't say yes. Recording of u you saying yes can be used for other purposes. Called in evening 730pm and in morning a bit after 8am.
