I'm registered with TPS so next to my number it says "Do Not Call" but even TPS say there's no law against them calling you if they wish, so what's the point. 30th Jan at 19:47 I got a call saying I've been in a car accident, when asked how they got my number they hung up then at 8pm another guy called. Then today 31st I got two calls in the afternoon. National Accident Helpline Ltd, he also hung up when I asked to speak to his manager! Ridic' and there's no law against this kind of harassment??? 0013580008

Any ideas out there?

Caller name: Commercial Recovery Systems

Caller type: Unknown

I want to send them a letter requesting them to stop calling me, but I need the address. Does anyone know the address?

The above information is a matter of public record and was bulled from their voluntary Chapter 11 bankruptcy petition (I know isn't that some ironic c**p)

I hope this helps - Don't bother suing these folks now. The vast majority of the creditors listed in the petition are people who have filed suits against them for violations of the FDCPA.

I would talk to a lawyer. I can tell you that they are not financially sound and continue to violate the law. These people are scum and bottom feeders working for a company that is going under.

They owe Texas Stadium $4 million for a defaulted lease agreement. They even owe an exterminator in Dallas money. They owe Fed Ex, Office Max, several state and federal agencies. They are deadbeats.

First started with silent call last week. Put phone down but received another next day. After a few seconds a recorded woman's voice came on advertising windows. Press 2 to call back, press 1 to be removed from calling list. As member of TPS shouldn't be on list anyway. I pressed 2 for call back as I wanted to find a company name. They called back tonight, in the guise of a boiler scrappage scheme knowing nothing about windows?!

I have reported them via the information commissioners website. https://ico.org.uk/Global/contact_us

I actually made an agreement with her cuz I got scared that they will garnish my wages. I paid them $300 down payment last month then $50 monthly payments. I should've look it up first. But after reading all these negative comments, I wanna stop paying them. Can they use that agreement against me? And what's funny, everytime I call them to give them the receipt # for the payments, they never answer. I'll leave a message and they'll call back 2-3 days after. What should I do?

Maybe CRS should pay their bills, and court judgments. Who owes Fed Ex, the Dallas Cowboys Stadium, Office Max.... the list goes on CRS. Pay your bills or stop signing things like leases for luxury boxes at Texas Stadium that you can't afford. Or maybe pay your judgments when you get sued.

CRS did file for CH11 in November and have over 200 creditors. Their license in CT was terminated and they were fined in January.

These people are worse than bottom feeders.

I got a call from this company today telling me they would put a "red flag" on my social security number if I didn't pay the debt. She went as far as threatening to take 35% of my paycheck. She wouldn't give me a chance to verify if anything she was telling me was true and even mentioned that if I were to declare bankrupcy I would not be able to declare the pending debt I have with their customer which is incorrect. I don't know how this company has been able to keep their company up on running with all these false statements they feed debtors with. I am seeking for legal help and plan on doing something about it. Not nice "Mrs. Shepard"!!!!

Asked me if I was Mrs Crosby - I said no and the phone went dead. Also got a call saying they were from my bank with important information and then asked me my name and got recorded music.
I phoned my bank and they hadn't called me.
How do these people get my name and number?

Caller type: Unknown

As others have posted, CRS filed bankruptcy last November. If they collected money on your behalf AFTER they filed, you have the basis for filing an administrative claim in their bankruptcy, which gets you a priority on payment. If it was before they filed, then you will be an unsecured creditor, and lumped in with all of the others. In either case, you should contact an attorney experienced in creditor's rights.

As I've read here, it was CRS, requesting a callback regarding a "case" he had received, wondering if I was aware of "what was going on". I now realize, thanks to this site, that this is a scam, and I will not be returning his call. I have great credit, have never failed to pay a debt, and certainly am not going to fall prey to this.

Kyle David is trying to collect on a debt that has been satisfied. This debt was also removed from all 3 credit bureaus. He said he was contacting my employer to start a wage garnishment. I know the laws so I knew he was using scare tactics to get me to pay this. I consulted an attorney. My attorney was currently filing a lawsuit on them in there Florida office. This company has filed Bankruptcy so I wasn't able to recover any damages. DO NOT let these people scare you. Educate yourself on your rights. They are harmless.

I was a client and they (CRS) is responding just like the people they call every day. They collected money for me and now refuse to pay the agreed amount, Which is not close to my entitlement. They settled when it was not an option I gave. They misled me from the get go and feed me full of ****. Again I was A client collecting money. So what collection agency goes after collection agencies that don't pay?

Please note this is not a bill collector. This is a scam. They have been trying to harrass me at home and even went as far as threatening my husband. I informed them that I gave financial proxy to a debt consolidation company and if they wanted to get paid, they needed to contact them. This Mr. Green insisted I deal with him. When I checked my debt consolidation, it showed this debt had already be settled - so report this company to the Better Business Bureau right away if you have a problem with them. I pay my debts on time and am very responsible - I am contacting the authorities if this person contacts me again.

Wow...telling debtors that if they pay a certain amount of money their credit score will go up...now they not only have to liability under the FDCPA, but the Credit Repair Act as well. If they tell you this in a conversation, get them to put it in writing. then run, don't walk, to a consumer attorney and sue them.

They used to have 2 offices, one in Dallas and one in Plano,m TX. Word has it that the Dallas location has been shut down, and most of those employees are no unemployed.

Yes, it is a bill collection agency. No, it is not a scam. If someone had a debt, they have a right to call them. The National No Call List is for solicitors, they are bill collectors. People should stop complaining about being called by bill collectors and just pay your bills or stop signing for things you know you can't afford. With these people, you can actually workout a settlement with them. For example, if you owe $5000, you can probably settle for $2000. Pay the $2000 and your credit score goes up. People, stop looking at bill collectors like they are evil when they are trying to help you. And stop listening to disgruntled employees that were most likely fired because they couldn't do their job or was probably doing something at work they had no business doing.
