Caller name: Breast Cancer Research and Support Fund

Caller type: Scammer/Fraudster

This number called my cell phone. The customer service rep said she was from the Breast Cancer Research and Support Fund, raising money for women who need breast cancer screening. She then asked for $20, $35 or $50 pledges. I agreed to the $20 pledge, and she then transferred me to a quality assurance person. This person asked me questions about my street address. So you have my phone number but not my address? So I told her to hold while I look up her business on Google. I then got some type of recording telling me where I could go for more information. Uh-huh. Got ya. This "company" has been scamming people in other states, from other numbers. Don't fall for it.

I concur, number is a Scam/Telemarketer ... no voice or message was left after call. Called for someone else then did the "maybe you can help me", then claimed they are American Disabled Veterans charity attempted.

Looks like another complaint filing is coming their way at FCC.GOV. It's funny how fines have a way of stopping this ish

They actually called my adult son's cell phone, wanted to speak to me. I guess me saying no on my own phone wasn't enough.

The call started with "Hi, is this xxxx", I answered "Yes". Now I am worried if my "Yes" answer was recorded to be used for something else. They obviously have my phone and my name, and now have my answer "Yes" to whatever questions they'll come up with for bigger scams.

Was told the call was for fallen police officers' families and agreed to donate $15. They wouldn't email me info but instead wanted to mail me something.
