I am working on a report for a lady in New Mexico. The caller asked her to purchase five $100 iTunes cards to "Settle the balance" on her taxes, and got rude with her when she got suspicious.

Please call and report this to the IRS at 1800-366-4484 if the caller claims to be from the IRS. Maybe they can track these guys down.

Pre recorded message left on voice mail, claiming their the IRS. Called back and someone, sounding like a call center, with an Indian accent answered, and, upon questioning, hung up. Call backs to that number were also disconnected immediately. Total SCAM. Number has been blocked

This is a fraud. The FTC can't do anything because they call from another country and they have no jurisdiction.
