I have asked 3 times to stop calling and they do anyway. Once you start to complain they hang up.

Picked up against my better judgement - carpet cleaner add - didn't listen to whole message - just pushed 1 and someone answered and said something like "carpet cleaners .." as I asked to be removed from their calls - I was rudely hung up on.

OK, here's what you should do -- press 1 and talk to the operator. Tell her you're the manager at the Fairmont or one of the other big hotels in San Francisco. Then say the regular cleaning crew is on strike and you need all of the carpets cleaned before the President of the United States arrives this Sunday. Tell the operator this will be an all-night job and you need her to send over at least ten carpet cleaners at 2 am on Saturday.

This "Diane" calls with a recorded message from a company called Steaming Green located in SF and doing business here for 18 years. This cell number with a pre-recorded message has bammed and bammed my home phone after my repeatedly advising them to put my number on their Do Not Call List.
Last calls was June 2nd 11:15am.

Pressed 1 and got the name of the company, and then told the woman to remove me from her list because I'm on the Do Not Call registry and that she was getting reported. There's a special place in h**l reserved for telemarketers--especially the ones who use prerecorded messages.

Sat through a long recorded message about carpet cleaning. Pressed "1" to make an appointment. Got a real person who answered "Carpet Care" and started to tell her that I keep on getting calls from that number. Before I could finish my sentence she hung up on me.

This number has been calling me for months. I tried being taken off the caller list which NEVER worked. Then I'd call and if u say anything other than "how do I sign up for my carpets to be cleaned" they hang up.
Here's what I do. I do it back! I call them back and listen to the recording say to press 1 to be removed from the caller list for as long as it goes and then finally it hangs up. Then I call back over and over again so I tie up their phone lines.
I did also answer one time and pretended to want my carpets cleaned then squeezed in to never call this number again. NOTHING WORKS.

If they continue to call after asking them not to, file a complaint at the FCC website. Easy to do on line and very, very effective.

They hung up when I asked to be removed from their list.

They are willing to spend a lot of time collecting information - and the opportunity for payback is a source of satisfaction. I feel sorry for their employees, but their company's methods are obnoxious and illegal.

Do these idiots think I would use their service when I've told them to go away? I'd rather have fleas in my carpet.
