Customer contact: they call every night, about 2 or 3 times a night. They ask for any men over the age of 18. That concerns me if you live alone or if your spouse is at work. My husband was in the shower so I said no one was available and asked them to stop calling. Sure seems rather persistent for a telemarketer or a survey.
Time to satisfy some questions :)
The Do not call list is to block people who are selling something.
For all of you that do not know why you get a fax machine when you call the number back
The number 5 at the end is only for outgoing calls.
If you wish to contact the company dial 412-431-7020
Owner’s name: Customer Contact Inc

This company does surveys to help assist local businesses provide better products and selection in
They do one survey every year.
To be removed from the list.. for the year politely say I am not interested.
If you really want to be removed from the dialer.. yelling and screaming won't work.
Customer contact might ask if there is a male or a female over 18 available.
It works like this..
'we need 100 surveys today.. 50 males and 50 females.. but in the first hour
there is 25 female completes and only 5 male completes
we need to go for males now, to reach our quota'
Don't be brutish with these poor minimum wage workers that are trying to feed there family's.
Just politely decline to take the survey.
Don't spout out ubiquitous garble like 'I am on the do not call list' and hang up before they get
to tell you they are exempt..
If you really don't want a call back.. this is the way to handle it.
Death threats are not useful for being removed from the list ...
how about putting on your thinking cap and answering the phone
"Pizza hut".. that will work.
Dear anonymous,if you are so confident in your ability to educate people you should write a book instead of hiding behind anonymity. When some dumb who're refuses to talk to anyone but a married man and won't leave info for him with his wife it's an automatic red flag to any loyal and EDUCATED wife.don't speak about what you don't know.we spend an hour getting our kids to sleep peacefully for some worthless piece of s**t to ruin it constantly.
I keep getting calls. Usually around 6-8 pm PST. I answer, they hang up. So, I did what anonymous said to do. I called 1 (412) 431-7020. The guy was nice. I was polite. Asked to be removed. I also told him I keep getting hang up calls. He said he'd have my number removed. That easy. We'll see if they call back!! If not, thanks for the advice!!
Sometimes it helps being nice, even to crappy people. I'm more willing to help out people who are kind, then to listen to people who aren't.
For those who are concerned, Customer Contact is a legitimate company, they conduct market research surveys for various companies, usually ones that are local to you. They are not scam artists and they are not in violation of any laws, the "Do Not Call" list does not apply to research companies, only sales calls. If you don't want to be called, politely tell the interviewer that you aren't interested and to please remove your number from the dialer and they will do so. The person calling you is making minimum wage, they know literally nothing about you, and they have no control over what number the computer dials for them, so if you're upset please do not take it out on them, they're just trying to do their job. That being said, the surveys are perfectly legitimate and the opinions you give them actually does have an impact on your local business community, your thoughts are valuable, they're not calling you just to give you a hard time.
