for some reason i am now getting calls from this phone number, i am on the DNC registry and have been for a long time... i dont know how they got my cell phone number, but i agree with everyone else that left a complaint. i get several calls daily, but my cell is on do not disturb while i am working, they never leave mssg (except one when they forgot to hang up and it sounded like they were at a party). i just want them to stop blowing my cell phone up.... 4 calls in one day :(
I called Wyndham and they said it is the WYNDHAM VACATION side. She gave me an email address and said give them your member ID#, First & Last name, & phone #. Also put DO NOT CALL & TAKE OFF CALL LIST.
email@example.com Im gonna give it a try because Im getting calls all hours of the day and I work night shift.
Caller name: Wyndham Resort Timeshare
Called me asked to speak to ____ when I said this is ____. The caller started screaming and hung up.
It's a Timeshare. I called them and told them I was on a DNC list. Says someone gave my number to them? Was polite and promised to take my # off their list.
Caller name: Wyndham
Received 4 calls from the company in 2 days two of which were hang ups. On the 2nd call I told them I was uninterested and received 2 additional hang up the next day. I called back to report that I did not wish to receive calls and that I had previously stated, the day before no less, that I was not interested. The guy said it could take as much as 30 days to remove my name from the list. Now that shouldn't be an issue as most companies don't call 50 times in a short period. Well low and behold I received a 4th call a few hours later.
Caller name: Wyndham Vacation Club
Solicit calls & do not leave message... I called back and they were trying to sell me a timeshare over the phone... I asked them to take me off the list and they said if they put me on the DO NOT CALL list that i would not receive calls for the next 10 years.
Caller name: Wyndham Hotels
As of May 23, 2013, this number is for a call center in Florida. The caller was seeking feedback on a stay at Wingate Wyndham hotels. I requested to be removed from the call list and the caller was rude, attempting to reach my husband and requesting additional contact information. He did not respect my request to be removed from the list.
Caller name: Wyndham Vacation
We vacationed at one of their resorts last year and even though my number is on the do not call list Federal and State, we get calls several times every week. Since we did vacation with them that give them unlimited options to call us forever!
Received a call on my personal cell from this number. I did not take the call. I did use a Wyndham chain motel (Travelodge) recently, so suspect this is where they got my number, though I did not request calls or solicitations.
Caller name: Wyndham Resorts
An unwanted call from this Orlando FL landline arrived today. When the answering machine picked up, the caller left no message, just dead space. Robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) do this all the time while trolling the phone lines seeking gullible schmucks to victimize.
Many posters have identified the caller as Wyndham Resorts, a serial timeshare peddler. Whether its timeshares, vacation giveaways, credit cards, air duct cleaning, home repairs, computer repairs, solar energy, the IRS, or Nigerian princes, a scam is a scam is a scam!
Caller name: no idea
The only way to stop these sons of b*****s is to put their phone number on a BLOCK LIST. If you have a smart phone, you should be able to do this. They will still call your number but your phone will stop the call and won't even ring. At least that's the case with my S4. You can also put them on a BLOCK LIST if you have Vonage as the provider.
If it is indeed Wyndham Hotels that is calling and IF you have a Wyndham Rewards card for stay at their hotels/motels then you have established a business relationship and they can call you. Just a thought. I wish they would not call me.
got calls from this number as well, it was a friend of mine that owns timeshare and i had once used his timeshare for my family vacation, they were just calling to see how my stay was and offer me an exclusive vacation offer.. im so glad i picked up and listened.. you all should do the same they have amazing package deals. THIS WAS NOT A SCAM!!
Caller name: Out of Area
the woman was calling from Wyndham Time Share Vacations or something like that (definitely Wyndham). I assume they got my number as I stayed at a Wyndham hotel last fall. Nice hotel stay, but that does NOT give them permission to pester me about getting a time share with them. I think that if you have done business with a company in the past, that gives them automatic permission to pester you ad infitum, sad to say.
Received a call from this phone number every other day for two weeks. Yesterday, the woman who called didn't realize voice mail was recording her. She was mumbling her script and someone in the background could be heard talking to someone else. Questions overheard included "are you married?" and "do you have any children?" The mumbling woman said something like "I can hold if you want to call your credit company."
