Caller Jay Brown is a SCAM ARTIST claiming to reduce your credit card interest rate. He is only trying to obtain your credit card information. He already has your credit report information. BEWARE HE IS A SCAMMER. Place a fraud alert on your credit file.

Gave me his extension as #8026, wants to give me a lower interest rate on credit cards, asked for info from my card. If you Google "CallerID4u", there is more info there. It seems that the CALLING phone company (LEVEL 3 COMMUNICATIONS, LLC) ?
gets PAID by the RECEIVING (Verizon for me) phone company a small fee from what the customer pays for "Caller-ID" feature on the receiver's phone.
Since I have time, I merely press 9 to allow him to talk to me, then string the caller along as long as he wants to talk. But I just keep saying "Oh, I need to think about this." I ALSO reported this to Verizon and the DoNotCall people (FTC ?) - government & DoNotCall lists do no good.
Folks are making money off of this - when they can't make money, they will quit.

They claimed to be able to reduce my interest rates. Extension given 8002. They knew a lot of information about my credit cards. It was scary.
