Caller name: GATEWAY
Yep, me too. The Caller ID name is simply "GATEWAY", which I believe means it is simply an IP phone gateway, that some telemarketer is attempting to hide behind.
For such, filing a report with the FCC would be fruitless.
This person called and claimed to be giving away a 4 day stay at Disney World..he said he was with RCI. I told him I was not interested and I work from home so he was calling me during work. He cussed me and yelled.."Ya, well I didn't ask you" and slammed the phone down.
I tried to call back to ask for a manager and I just get a quick busy signal so I assume this is not a number that can recieve calls.
This guy was a huge jerk and I doubt serisouly he was with RCI.
Caller name: 'Omar'
Called said representing RCI. Working at home today due to cold weather in Midwest. I said I do not belong to RCI and then he swore at me and continued to mumble under his breath at me. I used caller ID to call back number and went to the same guy, asked for his supervisor, and he swore at me again and hung up.

Make them stop, make them stop! My number is on federal do-not-call registry. Agent hung up on me when I asked to be removed from the caller list. I am so sick of these callers. I cannot call the number back; it doesn't answer.
I will look into an FCC complaint against them.
Caller name: unkinown...other than this number
I thought it was a friend I had missed... called back...no response... phone rings...no answer. did a google and here I am with my comments. I hope my phone has a way to block this number. I will call ATT and find out.
Caller name: FLORIDA (something
I am on the Government "National Do Not Call Registry". On Fri 4/18 at 9:14 am PDT (Arizona time), landline phone rang, saw FLORIDA on the caller ID but did not recognize the number. I picked up and said "Hello?". After a momentary, silent pause, I heard a lot of voices in the background (as if it was a call center) and a woman with a thick Hispanic accent said, "This is [didn't catch name] calling from [something] International. How are you doing today?" I said, "I'd like for you to remove me from your calling list", and she hung up.

Caller ID says gateway, they call several times a day, no message if I don't answer, hang up if I do answer and tell them to take me off their calling list, tried calling back to talk to supervisor, call will never go through.
Caller name: Gateway
Get several calls a day with no one on the line. I am on the National Do Not Call list and this seems to be a business who doesn't care about anyone's privacy. The place to complain is: Federal Trade Commission (FTC) 1 (877) 382-4357 and it comes under Fraudulent Business Practices. I think it was option 3 when I called. The local phone company (MCI) who has the number can do nothing about it without police, or government, involvement.
Has called my phone once a day, every day, for months now. Never answer, but it may go to voicemail - but they never leave a message, obviously.
can't block the number unless i subscribe to some service with ATT. Phone was registered on the DNC list as of March, but calls still come.
Caller name: GATEWAY
Repeated calls over several days and becoming more frequent. Upon answering the call, only silence. I have cautioned not to call this number but repeated annoying calls leads me to this action of researching what I can.
same comments as everyone else.. frequent calls, always a hang up, busy signal when calling back. a shame that everyone is trying really hard to stop this annoying business practice and seem to be getting nowhere. I think we would all love to start calling them at home day in and day out and see how they like it...
This doesn't stop them, but if you put them in your contacts list and set the ringtone to "silent" or "straight to voicemail" you don't have to hear them and they usually don't leave a message.
I have a bunch of these numbers under the same name in my phone under "scammers" etc. . . It gets longer EVERY day, but at least I don't have to hear every time they call.
