10:09 PM, Sun, April 14, 2013. Received text "From. firstname.lastname@example.org. ((Smi-ONE)) Account: 478.655X.x*x Frozen. Call:407.308.0038." I have no idea who this is and I don't really want to know. Do you think all the world is so stupid or naive that they will believe an anonymous text message at that time of night from someone they have never heard of? Please!

Hello, I am with smiONE card. We are aware of the fraudulent activity that has been taking place. smiONE did NOT send these messages and no accounts have been comprimised unless you have given them account information. The fraudsters are sending fake text messages and telephone calls imposing the smiONE™ logo fraudulently and advising cardholders to give away account information and to go to bogus websites. Ignore these text messages and phone calls and never give your PIN or card number to anyone who calls or texts you. We will never send you a text or phone call to activate your card. smiONE will NOT call and ask you for information as we have other ways of verifying your identity. Please help us fight the fraud and report them to the FCC by visiting the following site: (please place "fraud" or "unknown" in the company name space.) https://esupport.fcc.gov/ccmsforms/form1088.action You can also call your cell phone providers who can block you from receiving this type of spam.
