Please do not pick up the phone when you don't recognize the number of the caller. This is the only way to stop these low-life
scum of the earth from their constant calling you! It's a total waste of your time reporting these type of calls, Nobody cares enough to put
a stop to this.
My machine picked up this call and the automated service started to leave a message but then cut off. What was weird was that the robotic operator said, "Hello, FBI reports a break in..." Then there was nothing. I googled the number and found this site... Glad to know it's just another scam and not important although hearing the word FBI rattled me a bit - I think I watch too much Law & Order.

This call was traced to Bozeman Montana. The closest I could come was a location on Main Street close to Grand Avenue. They are beginning to be a pain in the backside. Three calls a day, morning, noon and evening average.
Caller name: SCAM Home Security
ROBO CALL about home security system claiming they are now installing systems in my neighborhood. They started out with a ridiculous comment about an FBI statistic about home invasions / break-ins. What a SCAM!
Caller name: Local Search
Caller ID shows Local Search. They are a robot call wanting to put security in for free.
Why can't we stop these vultures from calling us and trying to pick our bones.
The do no call does not help. What's the average Joe suppose to do to have these calls stopped?
Pretty sure this is a fraud call. Recording said to hit #2 to be removed, but that gets a hangup. Called it back and got the recording offering a free security system. Choose #1 and go to a "representative" but they ask if your credit rating is above 600. If yes, hit #1 (didn't do) - hit 2 if no, got the hang up. Curious why these things aren't investigated and shut down if they are what they seem to be.

ROBOT CHIC - FBI reports there's a break in every 15 minutes blah blah home security system blah blah sign in your yard..
New number, same old c**p.
LOCAL SEARCH - funny, 406 is not my Area Code.
Caller name: Criminals
They are scammers, they use computers to auto dial numbers. There is no service, just theft of identities and money. The calls are not coming out of suspected areas. The criminals use a variety of numbers from across the nation. They fake the caller ID and calling number to doop the elderly, vunerable and the gullible.
The call signs are always the same, just different number and differnt caller ID. Stop falling for this scam and the calls will stop. Criminals dont care about you nor the law.
Caller name: Security system
I have had this call repeatedly. I first hit # 2, the calls didn't stop. Then I pushed #1, and spoke to a telemarketer.
I explained that I was on a do not call list. That it is illegal to send recorded messages. She hung up on me!!!

First Alert Home Security System, say's press 1 for more information 9 to be put on the do not call list. Well, guess what? I'm already on the Do No Call List! The second time they called today I pressed 1 to tell them to quit calling and the rude b***h hung up on me.
I receive calls from this number frequently~~it is extremely annoying! I've tried pressing numbers to be taken off the list and spoken to a person, nothing works! They just hang up on you if you tell them not to call again. There should be a way to put a stop to this type of annoying calls. I'm on the Do Not Call List, doesn't work!
Caller name: First Alert
First Alert called me and asked if I wanted no calls to press 9, which I never do because it verifies that my phone number works. I pressed 1 to hear more information and acted interested. They tried to sell me (for $39.99 a month) a security system that by passes the local 911 consumer system with a special unique "commercial line" they have to my 911 local service. They claimed that my 911 only comes when they have spare time because they are so busy, but their commercial line is a secret line that gets right into the key people locally and those key people will know that my emergency is a "real true emergency" because First Alert told them so, and I will get a cop or ambulance or firetruck immediately instead of having to wait until 911 has a few spare minutes for me, could be hours of waiting if I didn't subscribe to First Alert. When I politley asked how I could verify that such a commercial line existed in my county, HE hung up on ME. I truly believe that the only way to stop these calls to my number is to take as much of THEIR time as I possibly can, asking questions and doing everything except giving them any true information about me. I have given false names, false number, false information. Once I kept a person in India who was going to "help me fix the viruses that they could tell were infecting my computer" for 29 minutes. Sometimes you have to act pretty dumb, just dumb enough that they think you may be dumb enough to fall for their "special deals" Give it a try, and you will find much more satisfaction in wasting their time than you do if you merely hang up on them or spew forth a few profanities. For sure, if they hang up on you because you are a waste of their time, that is the ONLY way you can guarantee that they will NOT want to call you back.
