I answer & there is silence on the other end for a few seconds and then someone finally says hello and when I respond back there is silence again so I hang up. I am assuming this is a telemarketer. I'm registered on the do not call registry so I'm not sure how these calls, along with others are getting through.

If you got a pop up on your phone saying that you won a $100 Walmart gift card from USA rewards zone like I did when I was on arcamax.com website, and put in your name and email address and phone number. They are ILLEGALY trying to circumvent the no call list by putting in their policy that by doing business with usa rewards zone that you are allowing every telemarketer and all their associates to call you even if you are on the do not call registry. Plus they are using the confirmed phone numbers on the do not call registry to call people with, without having to buy phone numbers anymore. Probably 100% of phone numbers now are on the do not call registry and they don't have any phone numbers that are not on the registry. They need to stop allowing people to change their phone numbers for scammer calls.

This number always calls me late in the evening after I have gone to bed. I hate being awakened after I have gone to sleep. I have to at least look to see who is calling just in it's a family member in need.

Caller name: USA rewards zone $100 Walmart gift card scam

Caller type: Scammer/Fraudster

USA rewards zone popped up during Arcamax website in Google saying that I won a $100 Walmart gift card. It asked for my name, email address and phone number number. The rest of the screen was blank. I did that. Then the next screen has a policy where it says by doing business with usa rewards zone then you are giving permission to have anyone associated with usa rewards zone to call you. I stopped and didn't choose to join the rewards program where you buy stuff. Let them know and get points towards the $100 gift card. I got screenshots of the policy. I have been getting daily scam calls since and they said they would stop the calls. The FCC don't do anything about any of this except allows you to report so they can block the calls but they just change phone numbers. I think they are going to have to stop phone number portability and stop allowing different phone numbers for one device.
