Found this info in my bank account, as well, for a $55 transaction. "PP" I suppose stands for PayPal. I did not make a $55 transaction through or with PayPal, nor did I make the transaction in the city referenced in the record. After seeing this page, I'm thinking my money was stolen. I hope this isn't due to a security breach via PayPal.

I just checked my bank account this morning and seen a odd charge to my account from Iowa. There was a number of 402-935-2244 listed with the transaction. I called my bank and they said to call the number and see if they can resolve it and refund you the money and call back if you think it's a scam. Well I called it and the number was not even valid. And she told me that it was for a dentist/orthodontist on Iowa, I've never been to Iowa and haven't been to the dentist in months. So I called and had my card stopped.

I googled this number and seen it was a scam and I remembered that I googled this same number a few days ago after they called my cellphone. I don't answer numbers from unknown callers and I thought it was weird, so when I googled it the first time people were saying it was a scam and when they answered the call it was someone offering a vacation or whatever. When they tried to call back there was no answer. I didn't even answer their call or call them and they still got my debit card somehow.

Be very careful people if you see this number call your phone, check your bank and keep tabs on it if it does call. Doesn't matter if you answer the call or not. So now I'm stuck in Texas for the rest of my vacation with no money to use because of these low life's that can make an honest living.

$247.50 charge showed up on my Chase Visa card. Called number many times but it was always busy. Called Chase fraud dept. We had used card that day in a restaurant. Suspect that card # was copied and a phony charge was put through Pay Pal. Chase has cancelled card (a big pain since I have many auto billings) and will credit back the $247.50. They claim they will follow up, but seeing all of these previous complaints, It doesn't seem likely. Check your charges daily!!!

My credit card sent me an email to enjoy my purchase while they search for a better price. I called them right away to say I did not make a purchase to PP*SATGA NTAS 402-935-2244 MO. They said it was for men's accessories or apparel. Had to cancel my card. They are sending me another one. Sounds from the previous complaints that this may be from paypal. I have never had a problem before with paypal but I am keeping track of my other accounts linked to paypal. This seems to be going on for quite some time now. I wonder why if this is paypal why it has not been shut down.

This withdrawal occurred on 04/07/2016 from my checking account. It was a dept collection call. A person said they were collecting on a medical bill. I was given information that made me think this was a real collection. So I paid $23.00 to clear the dept. I was trying to collect information for some records recently and did not recognize this withdrawal. Looked it up and found out I was scammed.

This was not a call, it was a $1,608.00 charge on my Visa Chase card. Totally fraudulent. The item line read: PP*CW TNT 402-935-2244 SC. When I called to report the fraudulent charge, I asked if they could tell me the name of the company and I was told Allied Products. In doing research on this telephone number, I see that this crime has been going on for YEARS!!!! What is the deal and why can't they be stopped?

They charged our account for 78 bucks, and I called our card holder and they gave us our money back. But not before it caused us some real problems. I think it was from a skimmer at a gas pump as well. I researched really hard to figure this out. And I determined that after they get the number from the skimmer they charge you from paypal application. Simple. You can use paypal to charge people for anything. All you have to do is have is their numbers. I try to pay inside gas stations and stay away from gas pump payments because they can open them up with a universal key and hook up skimmers that capture your digits when you swipe at the pump. I also keep my numbers covered with tape to keep people from looking over my shoulder. Microchips are suppose to be the answer but we shall see. It may be worse. Oh, I also take my money out as soon as I can so they can't get it just in case. And watch for skimmers everywhere you swipe.

FYI - did a little snooping, called the number, it's probably a fake paypal voicemail as I could never reach a human. Paypal's fraud dept is 888-221-1161. The 402 number here is a voicemail that's identical to Paypal's but doesn't get you anywhere. Seriously, feel free to call it, you'll never reach a human.

They hit two of my credit cards same date/time. Only one is associated with Paypal, the other is only a month old and what it appears based on the month long transaction history is they caught it at a skimmer at a gas station.

Reported it to Chase and Citi, Chase immediately reversed the charge no questions asked, Citi gave a credit and said their investigations department might be in touch.

Checked the Paypal account, no transactions on it. They tried claiming the two charges were donations to a charitable organization which I can tell you has never happened through Paypal.

You have all forgotten about some charge made on your card via some merchant's paypal account.

Call paypal, give them your CC number and transaction details (date, amount etc) and they'll tell you all the merchant's info so you can call and remember what the charge was about.

I saw this transaction on my credit card and didn't recognize it so I called the number listed 402-935-2244 and it says I reached a non working number. The charge was for $72.55 from a book store using PayPal so I called the bank because it was definitely not my charge. My paypal account is not even linked to this card. This number is somehow tied to paypal's card scanner system. I didn't recognize the charge shown on my bank statement, so started searching through receipts to find that was used by a local vendor who uses the card scanning system that plugs into a cell phone. My transaction was legit...double check your receipts before creating bad blood with a vendor that uses this system.

I looked on my bank account statement yesterday evening and noticed a charge showing up from COSTCO located in Exeter Maine. Funny thing is that Exeter Maine does not even have a gas station or a fire department in the small rural Maine town. Let alone have a COSTCO. The nearest COSTCO to me is either Frederickton NB or Nashua NH.

I haven't been anywhere since I don't have a vehicle, so this means that my card was captured in an online transaction. Card has been stopped and they took me for $79.99.

I called the number showing up on the transaction and the 402.935.2244 number is disconnected.
