It's the cops pinging your phone. It is not the FBI, probably MSP who always call using a 401 number...and many of the posters above are cops 'pretending" to get the same call to fool you. Take your battery out of the phone or they can track and listen to you on it. Google it if you don't believe me.

all the same fkin azzholes pushing their security systems.... I'm in RI like many of the others posting here, but I don't think this call is actually coming from RI, I believe it's a spoofed number.... these calls are coming from VOIP line and they can make show up on caller ID whatever area code and ph. number they want

they called me at least 20-30 times a week for 2 months then finally the calls stopped for about 2 months, ...then they started up again, they call both my home phone and cell phone

anyhow, being on the DO NOT CALL list doesn't mean squadooosh to these people, and sitting through their message so you can "press 9" or "press any digit" to be removed from their list doesn't mean anything to them either, as I've done this several times but they just keep calling

one day I pressed the digit to talk to somebody as if I was interested, once I got a guy on the line I told him I've gotten dozens of calls from them and that i have no intention of ever buying anything so why waste your systems limited time chasing a known no-sale....

when I told him that I've gone through their system following their instruction to be removed from their list probably 30 times in the last 2 months, his reply was, "well, now you've done it 31 times" and hung up on me

this company is a bottom dwelling sh*thole of dubious dealings, complete disregard for any and all laws, regulations, or common decency... and as far as I'm concerned the people that work for them are of the same lot, they don't give a rats azz that you're being subjected to inordinate amounts of calls, or that they're calling your business line, or cell phone, or calling you several times in the same day to the point of becoming a complete nuisance, and even crossing over into harassment

any person there could take 2 funking seconds and ACTUALLY REMOVE your ph number from their lists, but they just don't give a sh*t, all anyone there is interested in is making a dollar by tricking the random morons and trusting old people that actually fall for their bs scam and get a "free" security system ... (which I'm sure ends up costing hundreds along with bloated ongoing monthly "monitoring" fees)

Obvious to me since I am on the US do not call registry. What is interesting is how they got my phone number in the first place. She claimed my phone number was provided by Bell telephones. I was just about to call her a liar until I remembered providing my phone number to a Bell telephones internet service less then 24 hours ago. Is Bell telephones of the mind they are above the law? History says no!

I received 4 phone calls from this number in less than a minute. I kept rejecting the call, but it would call right back. It called back so quickly, I believe the calls are probably generated by a computer. I called the number back from a land line and blocked my number. A recording came on advertising a "free" home security system which the homeowner can supposedly monitor from anywhere in the world. Needless to say, when the prompt stated to press 1 if I was interest, I hung up.

It is a scam trying to get your credit scores under the fake front of a security servive.. call registers from Warwick RI.. report this immediately to the Secret Service as they are with the Investigative agencies who report Internet Fraud under Commerce. This can be traced and these people must be put behind bars. Check your cell phone bills. Do not call this number back.

Cell rang 3 or 4 times, then stopped. If it's ADT selling alarms, I don't want one. ADT installers could installers today and burglars tomorrow since they know the installation's loop holes. ADT was once the greatest; now a dud.
