Call starts with a recording about how this is a limited time opportunity to reduce credit card interest rates. I don't have any credit cards so I know it's a scam.
I waited for the operator to answer and told him he was working for a scam company and he should kill himself. This will be my standard response to these calls going forward and I hope the rest of you will join in.
They won't remove you and don't respect the Federal Do Not Call registry. They are the lowest of the low and should be publicly shamed for doing this.

Press ONE to auto-destuct. Press TWO if you think a list will stop these calls. Press THREE if you are a robot with emotions. Press FOUR if you are being recorded by the NSA. Press FIVE if you think a different list will stop these calls.
The followed blog comment is for a phone number with the last 3 digits different but it helped me to stop the calls; a do not call service at 866-246-7196. I gave them the calling phone number which they verified on their list and the receiving phone number to add to the do not call list. It's been a couple of days since and the calls have stopped.

Has been calling for a month and when I tray to talk to tell them to put me in then call list they just hang. I just do not want to be bother any more by discovery card, I do not want their services.
We've had maybe 100(?) calls in the last year or so with the same recorded message about reducing the interest on our credit card. They always say, "This is your last and final notice." Two or three times, I have pressed the number they told me to press if I wanted to talk to them. When a person came on the line, I asked questions like, "Who do you want to talk to? Do you know who I am? What credit card are you talking about?, etc.) They hang up, of course. Yesterday (4/25/2014, I called *69, and was told the call was from 347-775-2772.
