I then told "Andrew" (heavy middle east accent) that ibwas going to say this one more time and then I am hanging up on you "I AM NOT INTERESTED DO NOT CALL HERE AGAIN!"

I got 5 calls yesterday and 18 calls today. A man with a pronounced accent from either India or Pakistan tells me that I have some program on my computer and he is going to remove it and give me a refund. I play along and am directed to www.ammyy.com and he wants me to give him my computer ID number so he can get me to the refund form and I will get a refund. PLEASE MAKE THIS f****r STOP! So much for the do not call list. If this doesn't stop I'm going to sue somebody or maybe just come to Rego Park and hunt down this business and start f*****g up some people. I'm sick and tired of unsolicited phone calls from scammers. Telemarketers need to be put out of business permanently!

Lady, with very heavy accent called with a refund, I explained that I have not purchased anything for a refund and politely hung up. She called back and asked "Why you hung up, you no want refund?"
I asked to talk with a manager or supervisor. A man got on the phone and began berating me for not wanting my refund and not wanting my new car.
I politely asked to be taken off their call list and that I have not purchased anything. He hung up.
This is probably the twentieth time I have received a call from these people, I answered this time due to, I do not have an answering machine, so have never been home when they have called in the past.
Yep, they are scammers and the sad thing is that I almost recognized the mans voice from some blocked numbers I used to receive last year about viruses on my computer and about having won a sweepstakes.
I have to wonder if they are piggybacking onto the phone number that shows up, because I seriously doubt that they are even in the country.

Phone rang. Checked Caller ID. Didn't recognize the number. Didn't answer. Done. No muss. No fuss. Not much time taken up with nonsense.
Didn't pick up to let the caller(s) know that it was a viable number. Didn't listen to find out what accent was used or what the purpose of the call was. Didn't care then. Don't care now.
Didn't get upset if the DNC was adhered to (I'm on it but scammers, who don't follow the DNC guidelines, will find ways to get around it) or what Obama is going to do about it.
I have a life and instead of getting bent out-of-shape, morally indignant, cursing and slamming the phone down, and making this a big deal (instead of the small irritant that I choose to make it), I move on with my life. I'm in charge of what takes up my time.
That's just what I do. Simple. More power for me and for you, if you follow my lead, right?

P.S. The DNC IS working; otherwise, calls from legitimate charities, political action
committees, annual fundraising, and other businesses that ARE following the
guidelines would be calling, also.

Yep, John Kendall. 347-753-9068. Lady with an Indian-sounding accent who said she was calling from Microsoft because I'd recently bought something from them and was entitled to a refund. I kept her on the phone as long as possible (to prevent her from reaching other people) before finally telling her that I would be contacting the Attorney-General of my state to report a scam.

At that point she told me that my computer was now locked and unusable. Then she hung up.

Claimed he had gotten reports that my Windows computer was secretly downloading spyware and said he could fix it. Said he got information from Microsoft. At first I toyed around with him to say what kinds of outrageous things he would say, like saying this was a concern and could he give me exact information about the spyware, what does his company do to help, thanking him, etc. When I eventually said everyone knows that Microsoft does not share this kind of information, as he claimed, and that the only two possibilities were that he either had downloaded spyware to my computer to capture my info or was being untruthful about the info he was giving he, he grew agitated. When I asked what company he was from, he said Global Support then abruptly hung up.

Called claiming to be from Microsoft. I knew it was a scam so I played along to see what he wanted. First he asked for bank account information, when I wouldn't give him that then he wanted to remotely connect to my computer. I managed to keep him on the phone for about 12 minutes by scamming him into believing I was falling for his tricks. Just gave him garbage information to waste his time. Do not call lists don't work with scammers they are already breaking the law so they don't care about getting in trouble for making calls to the DNC list.

Called my house number at 7:30 this morning!!!!! I answered and a recorded message said goodbye then it cut off. These calls had stopped for a while but I would have jumped through the phone had someone actually been on the line this morning. There are laws here in Canada where businesses cannot call you before 8 and after 8. This is ridiculous.

My Caller ID says the call is coming from John Kendall. I received several calls while I was out but they don't leave a message. Tonight, I answered the phone and the woman had a heavy foreign accent. She asked for me by name. She said she was representing a construction company and she wanted to know if we were planning any home repairs or projects and that they would give free estimates, etc. I told her we weren't interested and I asked her to remove our number from their list.

Another one of these scam calls...From a a man in India, Peter from ACS V Expand, very persistent and he tells me he has "detected" a signal from my computer and blah, blah blah. I told him I had already been working with his company last week and I was very disappointed that they did not repair my computer since I had paid so much money to FIX it. He kept saying when did I pay the money and what date. I told him I was very upset and I wanted to talk to his supervisor...Finally he said it was his supervisor's day off..I told him if I couldn't talk to the supervisor I was going to hang up and did. I called the number back and it's some alleged software company that want's you to sign on to their website and I'm sure hack into your computer. Microsoft SCAM. HEAVY middle eastern accent.

I actually had him on the phone for 4 minutes, before I started messing with him. It ended with him saying he was coming over later to perform sexual favors...I called the cops and have a police report on it. I doubt anything will happen, but it sure was funny messing with him.

I can hardly wait for him to call again...he's called me 4 times this week.

Tried to get me to type and execution command into my computer. This would have given them the ability to access it remotely. Microsoft will never call you about your computer. Do not do anything like this when asked. I asked to speak to a supervisor, when he got on the line I asked if scamming people like this was the only way to make a living, and there are plenty of legitimate sales jobs out there. He started to apologize and as I continued to lay into him just started asking me to please just hang up...please just hang up, so I told him I knew people that were near his call center location and I would spend every extra dollar i had hunting him down. After a bit of akward silence he said he would not call back.

This guy was able to convince my aging mother to give up her VISA number so they could fix her computer. Apparently they did fix the issues but now they have phoned and demanded another payment of $199 USD or they will lock her out of her laptop. I advised my mother to put a hammer through the screen of her laptop and I will send her an iPad tomorrow. Don't be fooled by these guys!!! Never eve give your CC info to anyone calling you representing Microsoft or any other company for that matter.
