Caller could hardly speak fluent English! Very hard to understand. Wanted me to go in front of my computer because it was crashing. Told him I didn't have a computer....but he insisted that I go to my computer. I told him there was no way I was going to do that & hung up. How do we stop these people.

This caller had a very heavy accent and was VERY insistent that I would turn my computer on and follow his directions. When I told him I had an anit-virus program he said that it would not protect me. He said he was calling all registered windows users in my area about malicious mal mare that would crash their computer. When he continued to be insistent for me to turn on my computer I said no thank you and he hung up.

This number shows up on my CID as "unknown" sometimes but usually as John Kendall.
The first time they called I was told by a male with a heavy accent (sounded Indian or Pakistani) that I was having a problem with my computer and they needed me to log in so they could fix it. I respectfully said "no thank you" and hung up.
The second time (that week) they called I was a little shorter and told them "I am not interested in their service and to take me off their call list". He was than insistent that I talk to a "tech. supervisor". I asked "what part of I'm not interested do you not understand?" They hung up.
The third call a few days later they tried the same script. I informed them that I was a certified technician and had been involved in the industry for nearly two decades and that I am quite aware of how my computer is doing and told them if they do not stop calling me I will report them. He swore at me and hung up.
They call a couple times a week now and just hang up when I answer although if they get my wife or one of my kids on the phone they try to pitch them.
These people need stopped!

This gentlemen called, the caller I.D. picked it up as John Kendall calling from #347-753-9068 and proceeded to tell me that he was calling about technical support that had to do with my Windows8 program and asked if I was the main user for my computer. I told him that Iwas not and he hung up on me. This is the 2nd phone call I've received and I dont appreciate random creepers calling my private unlisted home number.

Male with very thick accent and poor English skills called from this number and kept insisting he was going to help me fix my computer. I told him nothing was wrong with my computer and hung up. He then called me back and said he didn't understand why I hung up on him. He insisted that my computer sent him an error message. I asked for his name and number. He said his name was Peter Smith and his number was 424-256-1717. This didn't match name or number on caller ID. He said he worked for Microsoft. He kept me on the phone a while and was very persistent. Then I told him I didn't own a Windows computer and had a Mac. He hung up on me after that.

I saw this name on Caller ID this afternoon. We know an actual person with a similar name but who has a totally different phone number, so I thought I'd check it out. After reading about this scam, I notified friends and family members, especially elderly ones who don't understand computers very well, to ignore these calls even though the name looks familiar. I also told the person with the similar name about this, and told themto pass it on to their friends/family.

As others reported, they call claiming to know that my computer is sending errors. Called ID is John Kendall. I had a similar call a couple of years ago and asked them how my home phone number was associated with my computer, since neither know of the other. THIS IS SPAM designed to prey on the elderly and those that don't know computers well. They need to be stopped!

I feel if it is someone I should know, or if the person really needs to talk to me, they will leave a message. I also am on the "DO Not Call" list. I have received three calls from this idiot in the past two days. He says he is from windows and his name is David. Sounds Oriental. Says I have a refund coming to me and wants me to get on my computer. I just keep asking him questions and telling him I am doing what he is telling me to do. Last night at 11:00 pm he called and I told him that I could not get on my computer until his mother got finished sucking my d**k and that might be a while because she was not very good at it! He got mad and started yelling so I just hung up. The call is coming from Asterisk VOIP. Their website is asterisk.org

He keeps calling me.
"Sam".
One day he continuously called and gradually they went from "you have a virus. turn on the computer. we fix this."
to, "baby I love you. take your panties off. kiss me. touch me. let me f(expletive)* you. you break my heart. if you don't say you love me back, I can commit the suicides."
he called again today pretending to be someone else and I tried to complain about the calls from the "company" and before I knew it, I heard a creepy laugh and the words "I love you."
This needs to stop.
I will not hesitate to get the police involved.
I don't like this.

I just received a call from a John Kendall but he has a Middle Eastern accent from 347-753-9068 and told me that my computer has a virus and he was from Microsoft and wanted to help me fix it. 1. How does a middle eastern guy have a name like John Kendall and spoke broken English. 2. I asked him how do you know I have a virus on my computer and he gave me a bunch of c**p saying that all computers have viruses and he wanted to help fix mine. I told him that it's hard for me to have viruses if I didn't have a computer (which I do otherwise I would not be typing here now) so he hung up with a quickness, not more that 25 minutes later I get a call from the same number and I am assuming the same person going through the same thing but this time I answered the phone as Agent (my name) from 30th MP DET (Criminal Investigations) FT Stewart, GA which I really am and told this person that he is being traced. I have not gotten a call from this number in over 3 weeks.......pretty cool too. I guess being an Investigator has it advantages!!

Caller ID showed "John Kendall". The woman with an Asian accent said she was from Microsoft and that my Windows computer had a virus. I told her we did not have any Windows computers and she didn't believe me, then became hostile when I told her to take me off her call list. I hung up and she immediately phoned back, saying she was going to 'call me 100 more times' that night. I told her I was going to report her to the authorities and she persisted. I hung up, immediately blocked her from my phone and just filed a report with the FCC.

Caller type: Scammer/Fraudster

Just got 2 calls from "John Kendall" via 347-753-9068 claiming he's from Microsoft and wants to help me "fix" my computer to rid it of a virus that's sending errors to servers. Obviously, this is a scam, but some will fall for it because: 1.) they don't know any better; 2.) the DoNotCall List doesn't work, nor are there fines for scam artists; 3.) your Congressmen and Senators don't really care about plain old citizens getting scammed (so when he calls back, give him the phone numbers for your Congressmen and Senators); and 4.) the current Administration isn't prosecuting those who break the law anyway. So what are we to do? Simple! When Election Day comes to your State, vote AGAINST every incumbent politician on the ballot. Get rid of every career politician and replace them with anyone else who can breath - - we can't do any worse than what we have now, so VOTE AGAINST ALL CURRENT POLITICIANS THROUGHOUT THE USA! Let's get some elected employees who can do their jobs instead of the incompetent wingnuts we have now. Pass this on, and VOTE AGAINST EVERY POLITICIAN ON THE BALLOT - - NO RE-ELECTIONS IN 2014! We can fix it by installing competent people in government; not by letting retired-in-place career politicians take our money for their pet projects and foreign aid giveaways. By the way, I had my phone tapped by my former employer so the next time I receive a call from 347-753-9068, it will be traced within 60 seconds, even if they're hopping the trunks and using phoney numbers.

Like all of you, John Kendall keeps calling me. woke me up the other day
at 7 a:m, hung up, and called back in 5 minutes. He has been calling me since Feb. CONSTANTLY! I want to find him and flush him down a toilet. anything to make him leave me alone. I'm disabled, and I don't know who to call to get help and make him quit harassing me. first I cussed him out. then I played dumb for 5 minutes, and then told him I figured the police had him by now, since my line was being monitored by them. he says he's from Microsofts pchelpsquad. I called their number, and gave them his name and phone number. he always uses the same one now. 1-347-753-9068. it seems to be from new York. they said they didn't want anyone using their site for fraud, but did nothing. he called me Feb. 12,13,16. March 2,14,24. April 1, then May 10 twice in a row. does anyone know what I can do to NAIL HIM? it should be illegal to harass people. and I see him everywhere at this site. what do we do????

I just rec'd a call from this phone number, it shows up on my caller ID as John Kendall. The caller had an heavy middle eastern accent, he said he was calling from a technical department in regards to my computer. I paused for a while and then I heard someone with the same accent in the background say the same thing, almost like a recording. The caller finally said "hello" after my long pause. I told the caller now was not a good time and I hung up. This is clearly a scam, why would ANYONE from any sort of technical department be calling about someone's home computer. Do they really think people are stupid enough to fall for this.
