The call came from a New York number, 607-271-9258

I was taken back for about 1.3 seconds and then mad at the scum running this scam for the next 10 minutes. I feel sorry for the people they have ripped off...or maybe given heart attacks to. The devil will take their souls.

Note: The IRS will NEVER call you out of the blue. They always send a letter and leave a contact number for you to call them. They NEVER threaten or ask for personal information on the phone.

I had a call from an identified number that had a recoerded messgae claiming it is from IRS, adviced me to call 3473890029 or 347-389-0029 as soon as possible. After I called this number they told me that I should pay outstanding due to IRS fromm 2008 to 2013 and if I do not accept this, IRS will file against me and put me in jail. When I asked them to send me a document for this, they threatened me to kick out from the U.S., and I told them shut up [***] son of the [***]!!!

Caller name: unknown, they left voicemail

Caller type: Scammer/Fraudster

My wife was listening to our voicemail and started to break down. It's been the worst year of our 35 yrs together and these A$$holes leave a message saying that the IRS is suing us and to call 347-389-0029. She comes running in to tell me this, and since we have had IRS nightmares in the past we both take notice. But SCAMMERS have always preyed on the innocent with half-truths. I am not religious, almost an atheist, but I seem to remember hearing that EVIL wins by using half-truths. My wife and I have had enough of the BS, and I have two very good ways to stop this from happening. The first is illegal, so not recommended (e.g. find and kill the perpetrators and make the death painful and public so that others don't do it). The major problem I have with this is the killing part, but you cant just hurt or jail these morons They do not have the intelligence or morals to understand the connection between action and punishment. And you can't turn them in to the police, as this is either low priority to them or they don't care nor will they help you track these morons down. (2) This is something I'd do if I could and had the $$ to back it. The FCC FORCES all telcomm's to offer this "service" that is FREE to the customer. The service allows each phone # to have a "screening" message that states to the caller that the owner of the phone # is in the business of taking all calls at the rate of $9.99 per minute billed to the caller. If the caller wants to continue they should press 1, decline either press 2 or hang up. Unless the caller presses 1 your phone never actually rings. The phone company then gets billing information from the caller and collects the charges from the caller. For their efforts the phone company keeps 60% of the charges billed to the caller and credits 40% to you/me as their customers. The only ones that are against robo machines and mass dialers are the very ones no one wants to be bothered by .... these types of scammers and politicians. Other businesses are just as non-legitimate and are stopped in other ways, why not these?

Caller's name just appeared as "6" when they called but left the usual message saying that I would be arrested for IRS fraud and to call back the 3473890029 number right away. Not going to bother calling back, just don't know if my phone will block the number if it came up as just '6'

A recording with a womans voice in English, but improper sentence structure that states " Hello, we have been trying to reach you. This call is officially a final notice from IRS. Internal Revenue Services. The reason of this call is to inform you that IRS is filing lawsuit against you. This is a scam from India. They will try to fool you into thinking it is the IRS and you must send money immediately. It is a fake. Have fun by calling on a motel phone or giving the number to a local talk radio show where they call the fakers and waste their time. DO NOT CALL on your own phone. They will read your number and keep calling you. Ask them to hold while you start your computer, instead flush your toilet while holding the phone near it. Next set the phone down near a radio while periodically telling them you are looking for your bank account number. Watch television in the meantime while they are holding. Waste their time. Report the call to the National Do Not Call List.

On 04/14/2015, someone called me from this number 347-389-0029 and left a message that IRS is about to start a lawsuit against me and that I should call the number immediately. On 04/15/2015 I was able to speak to a man with Indian accent telling me am owing IRS $3,000+ from 2009 to 2013. I told him am not owing IRS and have not received any written notice. He said I must pay the money or get arrested. I asked for his name, he said Officer Shawn. I told him to send a written notice to that effect. He said I should pay the money or he will issue arrest warrant on me. He the hang up. I believe this is a scam and this type of people need be removed from the public to stop embarrassing or possibly collecting money from innocent citizens.
