Caller name: Roger
Showed up as private number on caller id. Caller said he was calling from Windows Center and my computer was reporting malware and spyware to the center. I asked him which computer since I have two that go online? he said any that was windows xp, windows 7. That I should turn on my computer and have him talk me through the process of getting rid of it. I told him I was eating dinner and was leaving for the weekend, I would check on Monday and call them to help me. I asked him for a number and he gave me this number and I asked his name in his Indian accent he replied "Roger". I figured it was a fake number and if it was legit it would be a 1800 number for me to call back.

We get several calls from 347 332-1135 regarding our computer stating it's sending out error messages. I've been very leery about the folks calling. I've never received calls about any of my computers before so why would I be getting calls regarding this one. I've had this one for a very long time. We ask them to stop calling and they continue to call. I would really love for these folks to get the message. I'm not buying the B.S. Stop calling!!!! If I need something taken care of I will take my system in because I'm not going to trust some random person calling on the phone!

Same story here...computer sending malware....same numbers....no response, only they erased all my Microsoft software and I paid 400.00! disputing credit card, but still SOL for the software. Mastercard contacted the billing company (FIISOLUTIONS (8552050001)), the gentleman stated he would call the vendor, asnd I should get a response in a half hour from them. We'll see...all I want is my software back. But I am not hopeful..at least I may get the money back....

They called telling me my windows computer was in danger because of error messages they knew were on it. Couldn't tell me how they knew or how they got there; said that virus and firewall protection would not stop it. Claimed they were from windows. So I got the call back number and called from my cell phone.... here's the funny part... when a woman picked up the phone she had to tell everyone to be quite before she gave me the service center greeting. Lots of noise in the background. Best part is, I don't have a windows computer! I had some fun with him though, i may call back to harass the jerks some more.
Caller name: Neil/Emily
Called my home number and said they were from Windowscare and that
I had errors and warnings in m computer - was not the case - big time
scam artist - be aware of this phone number. They are the biggest
These people just called my house again and even called my husbands cell phone a few times. I told them i don't even have a computer. Of course I do but i said it just to throw them off. Soon after my computer actually has been acting odd so i am wondering if it's because of them. I am getting mad and I am ready to call my local tv station to investigate.
Caller name: Mark Watson
Said they worked for windows care. Earlier they said he was part of the network protection team of Windows. They said I had viruses on my computer and they were notified of it. When this person with a heavy Indian accent could not answer some of my questions and prove they were an authentic company, I said I thought it was a scam and he called me a "mother f-cker." How's that for customer service?!?
Caller name: Mark Eavidson
This is a scam, they are trying to gain access to your PC. SOMEONE; FTC, MICROSOFT, Etc. please take action and shut down these spammers... they are giving you a bad reputation.
The representative calls stating they have received significant traffic from my computer, indicating it is infected with serious virus and he could help resolve. The individual stated he worked for Windows Care. I asked if he worked for Microsoft, he said 'yes, I work for Windows Care which is software division of Microsoft'
I asked him for his name, he said Mark Eavidson. I asked for his number he said, 347-332-1155 ext. 137
After quickly looking up the number I said I have no indication/ confidence you work for Microsoft.
He said I do, its just a different department, Windows Care. I went on to further tell him he was a liar and there is no way he could have my phone#/information about a windows PC being 'infected' as I only own Macs. He stumbled and muttered out 'f*ck' you to me. Talk about great service!!

they told me my computer was hacked and they had to go into my pc to to see what viruses corrupted files are at my pc so they can fix .the caller asked me he can clear all the corupted files and reset my security defense system on my pc for a technician fee of 220 dollars im like what?are you scaming me so i hung up and the guy kept calling......beware of this number at all times they are thieves!!!
Caller name: Ryan
They are telemarketers trying to scam you. Has called several times. What I did was play along. I did not let them have remote control of my computer. I followed their instructions and answered their questions. I would ask questions as to who they are, why should I trust them, just any kind of way to keep them on the phone. They wasted my time, but I feel I wasted their time more. They are not too smart, they have called me three times, and I have kept them on the phone for forty minutes or more thinking they had a sale. One person even hung-up on me.
Caller name: daniel
Ditto on the Indian accented person saying my computer was infected. Asked if i didnt have several computers at my home (who doesn't these days?), wanted me to go someplace in my computer so they could show me the infection....I called back and got another Indian-accented woman who answered the phone Windows Technical Department.
Caller name: Leon Hall
Got the same call yesterday. The person claimed to be from windows care. Thank god I looked online first to see if this number was legit.
They said that my computer was sending out error messages and that I had to pay to gt it fixed. I thought that something was wrong because the first guy was Indian and had a thick accent, he finally transferred me to "Leon" who sounded American, but he spoke WAY too fast...the first guy sounded really Indian but had an American name of John smith...
I told them that I'd call them back because it wasn't my computer. Then I looked up the number that they gave me: 3473321135.
Scam. Scam. Scam.
They called me back and I told them that I would not like the services and hung up.
These are all very interesting posts. If, in fact, your computer could send error messages to a Window Global Server, do you really think you would get a personalized phone call? Hardly! Everything is done via email message, no personal contact -- Heaven forbid!
If it was so vitally important, then they would leave a message on the phone when they call, and they don't. So. . .phooey on them and their scam!
Caller name: david winston or wilson
he called and said my computer was infectedand that he was from windows. I told him i could hardly understand his heavy accent and I wanted to speak to someone who spoke clearer. he handed my to someone who spoke with a heavy indian accent also. I was suspicious also and I asked for their number. he gave me phone number 347-332-1135. he wanted me to turn on my computer, red flag the first thing u should do is turn it off right? he also wanted my cell phone number. scam scam scam
Caller name: James Anderson
My father doesn't speak a lot of English and he picked up and they gained access to our computer... I asked for their name when I called later on and he said his name is James Anderson with a thick Indian accent and of course I went online to check everything and I found this website.... They didn't finish working on my computer or anything so after about half an hour I unplugged everything and I called the police. I even called the company back and I think I might have scared them but I'm afraid they got into my photo albums/emails/ect... We will be taking our computer to our computer technician tomorrow but I'm so afraid they might actually do some harm... Help!!!!!!!!
Caller name: Emily Johnson
I got a call from "Emily Johnson" (which was a woman with an Indian accent) saying that my computer has been sending error messages to the "Windows Global Server" and that I had to follow their directions in order to clean my computer of viruses. I had to contain my laughter when I asked her to repeat her name, which she did with an Indian accent. I decided to mess around with them a little bit, so I asked her what information they had and she said when I purchased the computer, that all of the computer information and my contact information was put into the Windows server. So I asked her what information she had, which is my name, "John M Douat" (which I am not, because I'm an Asian woman), and my phone number. So I asked her what viruses were being reported to the server and what year and model my computer was, since obviously the server would have that information. She couldn't answer, so she "transferred" me to her manager (put her hand over the receiver for 3 seconds and handed it over to someone else).
Her manager, an Indian man, said, "When you purchased this computer, your computer's unique ID registered under the Windows Global Server." So I asked for my unique ID number, and he gave me some crazy 20-character number. As I asked more questions, he asked, "Are you the owner of the computer?" which I said, "No, John is." "Is John there?" "No, he's out of the office right now. Can I have your phone number and website and we'll call you back?" And he gave me:
First of all, I'm a female, working at a company on a laptop that was purchased by the owner whose name is NOT John. Second, this is a business telephone number that has nothing to do with the computer. Holes in the story? I say yes. Did I have fun? Yes. Will I keep messing with them in the future if they call again? Yes yes yes.

I got a call from a number that on caller ID read 000-000-0000. I knew this was crazy and answered in order to tell them off but they claimed to be from "Windows" and wanted to clean up my computer, for a fee. When I refused, they left this call-back number.
