Scammer, obviously. Call originated from this number, but left call back of 855-475-2195 and from "Ashley" about reducing interest rates on gas cards. The recording was a lie from the start as I have never spoken to anyone about gas cards. Called the call back number and advised the woman that answered to remove my number immediately as it was a violation of FCC regulations to use an automated system to call a cell number and that if I got any more such calls from their number I would file a formal complaint, which I will. Blocking the numbers through my carrier. Reporting them to carrier as scammers.
This company called me on my cell phone today even though I am on the "Do Not Call List". Here is what my search turned up...Phone Number:
BANDWIDTH.COM CLEC, LLC - IL
So much for the National Do Not Call List! I have to check it every few months to make sure I am still on it. Wish our government would step up to the plate and stop these unwanted calls. Complaining to these telemarketers and telling them to stop only brings more scams and harassment.
A lot of these spammers actually use the Do Not Call national registry as a list, so they don't actually have to pay for a list. Exactly the opposite of its purpose. Not sure how they fake the call back number, but when you call back it says the call cannot be completed as dialed.
Call came to land line number we have had for over 35 years, regarding a lawsuit about the drug Yazmin, which I believe is for birth control. Kinda funny since we are LONG past the need for contraceptives. Listened thru the call, pressed "9" as they said, to be removed from the list, recorded voice said "you will be removed from the list" Yeah, right.
