Talked about easy payments for outstanding debt of which we do not have any. Give another number 323 985 1019 to call back on. We didn't call back.

The number he called from is 323.985.1019. Must use burner phones as the last digit is different than the complaint I saw.

Scammer calling to give a reduction on my student loan....that I paid off 40 years ago. Has called me a few times and I let it go to voicemail.

Caller name: Steven With Benchmark

Caller type: Scammer/Fraudster

I received a call that I let go to voicemail today from the same person as others in this thread. It sounded like a real person but immediately my red flags went up.
The message went basically like this "This is Stephen from Benchmark, I got you approved for loan to help you pay off that debt. blah blah blah..."
I did not call back.

These people called and it went straight to my voicemail without the phone ringing.
It sounded like a real person leaving a message about how I'm approved for a debt relief program up to $55,000. And that I should call him back at "323-985-1019, again, that's 323-985-1019". Obviously I didn't call him back because I wouldn't give any financial information to anyone who randomly calls in the middle of the day.
This didn't sound like the usual "federal student debt forgiveness" robo-call.

Caller type: Scammer/Fraudster

Same as above. Loan, lower payments, blah blah, think it even ended with a "God bless". WHAT GOD YOU ROBOT?!?!?!
