Caller name: UBCF
Caller type: Scammer/Fraudster
Scammer called me at my workplace. I heard "David?" and responded that the caller had the wrong number. Then I heard something like, "Oh, well, we're calling everyone in the area, just the same. My ears have been ringing every since my son put his band back together. Ha, ha, ha! As you know, October was Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we're raising funds. One in eight women will be diagnosed this month...." Then I hung up.
The unnatural pauses between sentences were a giveaway that the call was a scam. Also, I got the same exact call about a month ago, with "David?" and "We're calling everyone in the area..."
Caller name: Ubcf
Caller type: Unknown
Unfamiliar number - did not pick up. They did not leave a message. If a strange number calls and doesn't leave a message, it is 99.99% unwanted whether harmful or not. I'll just leave it as other comments - most likely a scam.
